I am a level 29 now, and i have been finding all these elixars and i was wondering at what level should i start to make my gear and stuff better. I know to low of a degree is a waste and I know I am wayyyy far from a 10dg. But i just want to have a set that i can do good all round.

Btw, i have a level 29 shield with a BR of 19. Should try to pimp it?

Yea, thats pretty much where I start adding +'s to things. And at the start of 8D (64) I start adding some blues.

I got my first +3 at 52 but I think SwordCloud and TheKnight are right before that it was all +2... I've been a silly boy who was really afraid of losing those elixirs but they're helpful.

at lvl 1-20 npc weps
at lvl 20-35 +2/3
at lvl 35-70 +4/5
at lvl 70-100 full blue +7 at least

or if you got sos/som/sosun use that

that's how i do it.

What I normally do is:
Nothing for 1-4dg
+2 for 5dg
+3 for 6dg+
I would keep gear +3 till 10dg if you ever get there. For 8dg and higher I'd recommend a +5 wep.

NPC till like lvl 42. then just +3 ur weapon, forget ++'ing the gear. don't worry about blue's, cause you're gonna lose all that money on low level sets. if you can afford it buy sos weps till like lvl 42.

make ur sets +3 at least after level like 72. at this level try to get a hold of +5 weapons from now on.

when you start 9deg. see if you can buy blue'd sets. they're still around, and are really cheap now. make them +3 or you can probably pick up blue'd pieces for like 5 mil. i sold my +4 set with blues at 5 mil a piece...

at 10deg. make ur first tier set +4 and settle for imperfect blues just int/str/hp/mp

ur final tier set +5 it and make perfect blues.

i started to increase my items after lvl 42, but depends, if u are legit u should always increase items, adding blues, blabla..
If u enjoy the poor pvp that this game have, and u participate in CTF the better the amor, higher are the chances of victory.
