ive searched and found guides from 2007 so yeah ><

Edit: Im currently going with just fire-ice
haven't bothered leveling earth-lighting...so i was wondering shall i level up my earth? currently 48 mastery on my wizard so >< or wait till 60?

I'd defiantly level up your earth nuke. They do crazy good damage and have awesome AoE nukes.

Add lightening if you wanna be better at pvp. The light KB move is pwnage.

hmm i might level up my earth then..
i think i will leave lightning as most guides say to leave it ><
whats the dmg like on earth? like compared to fire-ice nukes

you want lightning too, for if for nothing else then getting fear.

I've killed giants my own lvl with sub bard style even with fear, and earth barrier and knock back , oh ya get the charged wind skill too it can be a life saver.

at lvl 60 you'll want to invest the sp back into the first light nuke which sucks but you need it maxed to buy chain lightning which is very good in a party. Lets you have non stop area of effect nukes between earth shock, meteor, snow wind, and the charged wind itself.

But if you're just forced to solo right now and trying to farm i'd recommend just getting fear and earth barrier for right now and skip the nukes till later since you don't really need them while soloing.

combined with your recovery division and bless giants will no longer be a big problem only if you get 3 in a row spawning

yeah im actually in the middle of de-leveling bard and going cleric so... since iv'e always had problems killing giants...i still think im gonna leave out lightning atm since there is very rarely any partys and find myself soloing as usual :(
i took earth tho... and im so glad i did :) what an amazing skill earth shock is ;)

U can leave charged wind at lvl1 to save sp but u need fear maxed to ur lvl if u want it to be as useful. If u r soloing a lot then u can skip the nuke. Then just keep going with fire and ice and earth. Saves a little sp, but if u happen to be farmed then u can just pretty much everything in the wizard book. Also, the aoe statuses don't need the single target ones maxed, so u can save sp on combustion and also bind if u want it.

As wizz/cleric I'm killed very often by mobs when I solo. I look at the damage that a mob gives me. I use recovery division on myself but a mob's damage should stay withing a range. I have to survive one critical hit.

Some mobs hit harder than others but it has to do with the physical/magical damage they give and the blues on your equipment. I prefer robes and try to find mobs that aren't hitting me too much but if you go for light armour the damage results that a monster gives are different.

The test is looking at the damage that is given per mob attack. That damage may never exceed more than 50% of my health points otherwise one single critical is sure death for the character.

I'm also an earth spell user and I take the spells like ground charge. First I hit AOE with the distance earth attack and when mobs come closer to me I use ground charge to kill the remaining mobs.

I invest a lot in improving my accessories by adding blues on it lowering fire damage, ice damage, etc. I think that for a wizzard very good blued up accessories are more valuable than blued up robes because you can add those specific protections on it.

Another criterium is the fact that I'm able to take down a giant. When a giant pops up I recast recovery division, holy spell and bless, and normally it allows me to tank that mob and kill a couple of secundary mobs around with AOE. I keep purple grains ready for use in my F1 bar and when I see that I'm lower than 50% of my HP i use one.
