i was wanting to build a class that i would have fun in playing and i looked up the weapons and how each one of them responds and then i looked at a force and lightning was the coolest one i seen with the grass walk and buffs. but can anyone tell me if a light str. glaver is a solid build? :D

No. If you go str then I suggest either glaive/cold/fire or glaive/fire/force. Lightning is for hybrids and ints.

Depending on your liking,
Light is good at grind.(transfer)
Force is good at pvp, helping.
Fire is a must, so light, force wouldnt really work out in both terms of grinding and pvp.

Hmm, no. Any tree is for any build, it just depends on what you need and want.

Yes, a lightning str glavier would be a solid build, as long as you have fire at a somewhat high level (preferably ~ 80 +). One good possibility I see would be 100heuksal/100lightning/80fire/20cold. No problem at all in going for this one.

Had a lightning glaive once. Not having fire on a full str isn't tht bad. Tht said, in the long run, fire is better IMO.

If it's to choose between either all fire or all lightning, fire wins hands down. If you can have at least ~ 80 fire with whatever other maxed force tree (light or cold), you can choose whatever you prefer, the difference will be small when compared to 100 fire. :)

100 light is a waste, especially for pure str chars.

100 heuk/fire/cold, 100 heuk/fire/force or 100 heuk/fire, 80 light, 20 ice are the 3 most used builds. If you like light I'd go for the 3rd one ofcourse, it has a fairly high light lvl so you got nice speed and phantom =]

Yes, you are correct, but if he really likes lightning imbue, there's no problem at all in him going for 100heuksal/100lightning/80fire/20cold, except for the magical defense drawback, which is not that big when compared to 100 cap standards, and the fire wall.
