it all depends on what you like, some people like bard bcauase of noise and speed, I personally like cleric for holy spell, bless, and recovery division but the down side is no speed but these events make that alot easier with the scrolls
personally I would say cleric, recovery division heals you and makes it easier to fight party mobs solo, i can even tank giant party mobs with the cleric skills
for pvp I would definatly say cleric.

I used to have a Wizard/Bard. It's a great build if you like to hunt uniques and grind. With noise, you don't have to worry about aggro mobs attacking you. It was really helpful because at higher levels, I could grind at mobs (like Royal Guards) that had no giants and champs without having to worry about dying.
The only problem with this build is that you're not going to have the extra defense to PVP efficiently. That's why a lot of people go Wiz/Cleric. Having bless, recovery division, healing cycle, holy word, and recovery really helps in PVP. It's helpful with giants, too, but having to switch back and forth between weapons can be annoying sometimes.
So if you prefer grinding and unique hunting, go wizard/bard. If you like to PVP, go wizard/cleric.

When you powerlevel bard will let you move fast, so you will powerlevel a bit faster with bard sub ( but not much IMHO ).
Cleric, however, allows you to ressurect the dead, and it's extremely helpful for powerfarming.
IMHO Cleric is better for powerleveling ( except for 100% safe spots like sonar/kala etc )

MissLe2 wrote: i also chose the cleric because i have a wiz/cleric but now i think i will try a wiz/bard to see the difference, noise would be very helpful i think, but not really being able to handle party mobs solo might suck If you want to kill party mobs with Wiz/bard use ice nukes then run/teleport hit again and run. Or just buy good gear. And if you pwlvl at ongs bard is better if you can 1 hit party ongs.

My current build is Wizard/Bard and it's nice. I like it because of the mana healing ability, plus moving march and noise. Both skills help a lot, speed and monsters won't hit you. Also, clerics are quite common in finding to add to your party. But anyway, Wizard/Bard is my choice for you. But then again, Wizard/Cleric has it's ups to. Bless, Healing yourself, etc.

Im a wizard cleric and all i can say is ..it's a good combination..good support for party and nice damage as a wiz,but this will still be on your own choice. Both combo wiz/clerics or wiz/bard is good class combi if you want, try it both to see the difference ..clerics are for full support heal/ress (unless you take battle cleric and take the offensive skills),bard full support noise/moving march etc.
