I can't decide what is better for overall PVE and PVP. The character is male and 9D male prot looks ugly. However if it comes to it, I can just pk2 edit it.

However, which one is actually better?

Garment
pros:
20% movement (extra speed is always a plus)
20% mana consumption reduction (excellent for when using snow shield)
Very high mag defense (most mobs in Rok Mt. are magical)
cons:
Low physical defense (fighting pure STR characters will probably suck; at least when snow shield is down)
Pieces are typically the most expensive

Protector
pros:
10% movement
10% mana consumption reduction
Higher physical defense
Good pieces aren't usually very expensive
cons:
Its ugly (and gay looking)
Lower magical defense than garment

So what should I wear?

Look u have Mag and Phy attacking Mobs in Roc mountains and outside roc . So i would say go for Protec . however in pvp u will need Garment to last longer vs wizzards and nukers all kind ... even vs STR chars its better to wear Garment .

90 bich/lightning - ice 30 w/ ever = garm, for the loss of fire's mag def buff.

90 bich/fire - 60 ice/lit = prot, for more phy def : )

90 lightning/ice/fire = either one...

This is my choice ofcourse :)

I'd suggest.

Pure Int -

~ Bicheon 90, Light 90, Cold 90, Fire 30
~ In Garments.

Problem with the garms --> str chars will eat your MP.

a lot of people at this point in the game end up making two sets.

but IMO Garm is better as long as you have 41% + on all your phys and phys reinforce whites.
