I have a question about nuker build. I have a Chinese char at lv 43 right now so it's time for me to think about what skills should I get and my mastery allocation.

1. Im a pure int nuker, which means that I have never put any stat points in Str:)
2. im using spear, which can give me the most magic damage.
3. i want do as much damager as i can, but without dying 24/7.
4. i wanna do pvp once a while.

Here is my build right now.

Heuksal Mastery: lv30
Cold Mastery: lv38
Lighten Mastery: lv38
Fire Mastery: lv30

I heard some people said that a spear nuker should go with pure force, and dont need Heuksal at all. Im really confused about that. I know im definitely gonna get lighten 90 and cold 90, but i really dont know about the rest. shall i do heuksal 90, and fire 30? or shall i do no spear, but fire 90, with force 30?

Thanks. :)

I wanted to try out that build, i had fire light and cold at 77 (9 gapping at 86) and i gave it up. I am more of a PvE person, but still this wasn't good enough. Sure, the dmg was awesome, but i was a complete disaster when it came to guild or fortress wars.
I'm a s/s hybrid, but i was dieing non stop in wars. So for a pure int i think it will be even harder. Even when you put snow shield on, the opponent hits u so hard, that you lose all the mana and you can't nuke.
The pure force nuker is only for PvE and taxi.
So i would suggest you fire at 30. Or if you're planning to grind all the way and nothing more... than go for pure nuker :)

does a pure int nuker really sucks that bad in fortress wars? i mean, im sure u die, but dont u do lots damage whenever u get a chance to hit other players tho? u r right, the worst thing is that u lose all ur buffs when u die. u probably gonna get owned before u put the snow shield again. i heard people said that hybrid really wont help a nuker that much since it really wont give u that much extra hp and defense power. so i really dont know if it's worth it to go hybrid. Im thinking still go with pure int, and 90 heuksal since the bottom skill in heuksal does give u a good amount of extra hp. :)

i agree...if you want to be good in pve and pvp go

90 huek
90 light -nukes + mag damage increase buffs
90 cold -defense
30 fire

if you want to be good at pve and rely on group pvp to do well try force

90 huek
90 force - debuffs
90 cold - defense
30 light or fire

i really dont think you should go force with spear. force works well with bladers and maybe even a S/S nuker (because of shield) a force bower might even work. with a spear, you just have no chance of blocking hits when casting your force debuffs.

Sorry to say this, but Pure Int Spear is so weak in PvP now a days. I drop them like nothing, even with their snow on. I'd say delevel the 30 husk and just level up with a S/S or a spear up to 6x and then farm for 80 skills. Then you can choose if you REALLY want spear or you want S/S which OWNS this cap. Not sure about the next caps, but I know this cap they own. I'd say level up cold and light up to 60 and farm from there. Then choose what of the two types of nukers you want. Leave fire at 30, you are good there.
