I know the full INT s/s is awesome with damage but does the bow do massive damage full INT too?

I have a lvl 44 full STR, but was wondering if the full INT makes a difference with bow. :?:

no.

bow = str weapon

sword + shield = hybrid weapons, so they work pure int.

Bow can also be hybrid, if you look at its stats its physical and magical attack power are closer together than other weapons, like glaives or blades.

everytime Hyb bow pvp with Str bow, Hyb doesn't stand a chance. even blader can kill hyb bow easily.

so, INT bow is the worse.

I've played with a pure int lvl 80 pacheon. Its not that good, not that it gets killed mind you, with kb, stun, ice/fire wall, phantom, and the best skill snow shield, it could tank just effectively as any other chi build. The only problem is that it cant kill properly. Pure int spear can kill, pure int s/s can kill with bicheon debuffs, pure int pacheon well..

I recommend that you dont go for this build, or go for pure str or hybrid pacheon instead.

Sylhana How long did you play this bower and what gear did it have?

You say it didn't die instantly so how did it have trouble killing?
a pure int bow does more damage then any other bow build.

Nukes will hit the same as a s/s without bleed etc. Strong bow has crit increase. Killing shouldn't have been a problem.

I thought the reason why most people don't go pure int is cause they die to fast not that they don't deal damage.

Funny you should say "how long did I play this..". Leveled up a pure int pacheon to 65. The pvp one I'm talking about was my main char on herc I converted after deleveling heuksal. Gear +5 armor full blue set, bow +5 full blue.

You say it didn't die instantly so how did it have trouble killing?
It survived because of snow shield, 5 arrow combo, phantom.

Not true. Its crit was useless, and its damage could be potted off by well equipped chars (no suns on herc, only +5 full blue sets).

Nukes will hit the same as a s/s without bleed etc. Strong bow has crit increase. Killing shouldn't have been a problem.
Crits for a pure int bow is hardly a noticable increase in damage. Damage isnt as high as you would expect. Nukes + pacheon skills couldnt kill the opponent fast enough.

I thought the reason why most people don't go pure int is cause they die to fast not that they don't deal damage.
Most ppl dont go pure int, because many other players hypothesize that they are bad. I went on to test it myself, and am certain that they are bad in pvp, unless you have a sosun bow.

int bow was okay when you could cycle through the strongbows.

but joymax farked them over, now you do 1 strongbow and they're all in cooldown.

they need to change it back. :x

Its nice to here that you tried int bow at cap with good gear. though....
Saying that int bow doesn't do more damage then pure str is completely false so what are you trying to say, it doesn't do enough damage?
Are you saying that you had to follow every strong skill with arrow combo just to stay alive?

put it this way, nukes are stronger than bow skills.

strongbow might be the closest to INT nuke damage, and INT's still have troubles killing pure str.

Yeah I understand what you are saying. It just seems like most people are saying that pure int bowers don't hit hard. I just want it to be clear that they hit harder than any bower that has str stats added. The more str added the less total damage.

With all that being said, I actually agree that hitting harder doesn't necessarily make up for the lack of hp, and that int bow is not for 1vs1 fighting.
