Premium account bound or character bound?

Is the premium account bound or character bound?

Because then i just log in to a world who is populated make that char premium and then log off and log in to my real server?

i have for example 3 chars on alex 1 with prem and 1 char on troy.
the prem dont work on troy just on 3 chars on alex

That, and only on the char you activated your premium you will get the bonusses (so the stat increase etc etc) and the ticket time.
