To anybody who defeated Cerberus

At this moment I completed all Europe/Constantinopel quests (and some at the other side of the sea), except the Cerberus quest. One time I was at the beach (Sirens) and the message "Ceberus appeared" was seen on the screen, I started to run to the temple - to late.

1. HOw do I form a party of the correct type (most parties are not of the share type).
Some parties are not "long range"(disappear when you are out of each sight or are cancelled).
2. How to be in time. First you have to arrange the party, then run to the sunset witch, than run to the temple and summon Cerberus - all that time the party must stustain. Will your other party memmber be at the temple at the correct time?
3. Suppose the party is intact, but nobody is at the temple. Which level is required tot defeat Cerberus alone.
4. If you die, do you get a second change?
5. Even if you're there, Cerberus is defeated, but you didn't gave him the final blow. Do you get another to change to finish him of and get your name on the screen (Silverwind defeated Cerberus, YEAH).
6. Any other suggestions?

Silverwind at level 25 & and eager to kill Cerberus.

There are 2 types of Cerberuses. One is the Unique that spawns every now and then, and the other is the Quest mob. When you kill the quest mob you don't get your name flashed to the whole server. The Unique has like 10 different spawn points around the southern part of Europe, and is usually camped by 90+ wizards and such.I'm not sure about the details of the quest that you asked, as I have not completed it myself. Hope I helped at least a bit

To form your own share party, press P, click Set, choose Auto-share options, then click ok. Click on the person you want to invite, press P, click Invite. Or put it in the party search engine by pressing E, click Form Party. I'd suggest making the party name "Cerberus quest" and hope there are others on your server who want to do it.

A random party chosen from party matching won't work for this. You need to have people that want to do the quest. Have everyone meet at the Temple. Right-click the item the Witch gave you, you and your party will be teleported to the place where the quest Cerberus spawns.

I'd guess around level 40 or above. If you have a cleric sub, you may be able to do it at a lower level. Cerberus hits hard so you have to tank his damage or be able to heal yourself through it.

Yes, though I think you'd have to go back and get another item from the Witch.

If you are dead and your party kills the quest Cerberus, I'm pretty sure you still get credit for the quest as long as you don't teleport out. As Devilman already said, you don't get your name on the screen for the quest Cerberus.

6. Any other suggestions?
If I remember correctly, if you can find someone high level who has already completed this quest, they can teleport in with you and kill Cerberus for you. You must be party leader for this to work.

(You'll have another quest chain of this sort in the future to kill Captain Ivy. Very useful reward - berserk refill scrolls.)

Hi , i can make a party with you if you're in alps server :sohappy:

i fighted him alone last night there was two of my friends with me but when i summoned him in the temple he didn't showed to them because they didn't make the quests ><
and he killed me with two het's , i'm looking for someone to help me with this quest , he's so strong ><
he's HP is like 1,000,000 but the attack power of him is not to much and the defense too but we need about 5 persons at least in my level or more to kill him there's a video of the quest

Facinating, 2 Cerberus mob. I am hanging around at the european grounds for two months now, never met the Unique one. This type is attrackte by level 90+ players or so? Like To see such a battle ( from a save distance, hah!)
Do you know those special (10?) places.
