Well, I'm a wizard and I'm beginning to see just how much I'm going to need to farm SP. Would it be efficient to just solo train on a bunch of monsters with a 9 gap for a long time? I don't exactly know much about farming but I figure this would be one of the best things to do seeing as I probably wont have a party.

I've trained with a 0 gap, what's the easiest way to expand this to a 9 gap? Leveling 9 times without touching the mastery? Or can that quest from the nun help me level down the mastery?

If I level down my mastery through that quest, will my skills get weaker? For example:

There are skills that need a certain level of mastery. If this mastery gets lowered, will the skill also be lowered a level?

if your going to go solo you should plan out when you gonna start your gap. try to pick a time when you reach you 9 gap can use a wep of a new degree. pick a mob that isnt aggro. it will save you a lot of time and frustration. it should also be a mob that you can 1 hit with life control. if you have the money to de-lvl then go that route or you can do what i did and split it, de-lvl 5 times and lvl up 4 or you could just build a gap. and yes, you skills will get weaker.

I see. I guess I will use that quest from the nun to lower my highest mastery, is that okay?

Thank you. One last question...

Noise (Bard skill) at level 2 protects you from monsters up to what level?

Really? Wow I'm a noob, I've played this game for years and never knew that noise didn't protect against champs and giants. I guess I don't pay enough attention in parties...

Oh jeez. Well I got me some skill realocation potions from doing the quest and getting lots of hearts. It only allowed me to level down my mastery once.

... Do I have to level down ALL of the individual skills too? if so, oh my God, that's a lot of potions I have to get.

In fact, holy crap, I might have to start over instead. Forget this!!!! I'm only level 32 anyways... oh my god.

My favorite way to go 9 gap, is to pick the level at which I want to farm. Say Nachals at level 72-74 (300k SP on a 9 gap w/ no delevel). I would get all my skills to 63, and only level the mastery of one skill type. So in my case, I was 63 Huek/Light/Cold, and since Light was my strongest (spear nuker) I only leveled the Mastery, and no skills. that way I only had to collect 90 Hearts to fully delevel light xD. Its the best way in my opinion. As a side note you could just level the highly important attack skills, specifically the ones you 1 hit with. Its a cheaper path, just makes it harder to level depending on the build. Dont give up!

Yep, that's funny, because I just thought of doing it the exact same way. I decided I'm going to start farming at level 41 (I guess on sosungsungs) and I'll just level up the mastery, no skills, like you said.
