I'm a pure int spear with fire & lightnin and i have a problem...

Should I use Armour or Garments??? :?

I'm using Armour atm and it's good but i'm really slow and seem 2 sometimes take heavy damage from things which shouldn't be doing it :? (e.g. meek gunpowders )

Would I be betta off with Garment or should I stay with Armour???

Could really do with some advice here plz

Armor, Pure int has no phy def. The armor gives you a boost in phy def, and fire gives you a boost in mag def... so, imho armor :)

I actually prefer garments for every build, but I also prefer protector for INT's

Imo full Int should wear armour or protector. If you wear garms, Str builds can easily beat you in PvP, because full int has little phys. defence, and plenty of mana. No need for MP usage reduction. As you are already investing in the lightning tree, max out grass walk, to make life easier when grinding.

imo i would choose garment reasons:
1. you already are low on defense chances are its not gonna make a huge difference. your still gonna lose
2. the extra mp reduce will let u grind longer
3.you move 20% faster so you can grind faster and get away from enemies faster.

garment is the better decision because basically if u get in a fight with a str and your pure int your gonna lose anyways. get grind sp instead and get the 15 seconds of castle sheild maxed for the physical buff and that should take care of it :D

depends when you grind

if u grind at mobs that dont attack u first, then garms, if not, then armuor :) but u should be 1 hitting things anyways, so you shouldnt really get gang banged

armor to 5x.. then prot.. then at 7x you can switch to garm if you chose.. but prot is actually the best choice IMO.. although i know a lot of 7x's who wear garm

Protector or Garment. Any Pure Int wearing a full set of Armor will be very easy to take out with another nuker. That, of course, turns PVP into a "who can nuke first" contest. You could try mixing Armor and Protector though.

Cool, thnx for ALL the advice here :D

I think I'll carry on with armour & maybe mix in a bit of Protector from seeing what u guys have said ;)

I need the phys def mostly cos I do a gd bit of pvp aginst str's and my grindin is mostly against monsters that attack first :)

+ I've just maxed up grass-walk flow as high as I can 4 my lvl so da speed is sorted out, thnx 4 pointin that out Tiglari ;)

Thnx 2 all of u for this advice - it's been a gr8 help ;) :D

armor of course, only fight physical mobs since you do greater damage to them..........

or you wear garment to kill magical damage mobs (like range ones, yeoha, taoist, blah...)

I totally agree! :D

I love to nuke some higher lvl guy and then run away very fast. :D

garms or protector imo.
Reasons why:
--I've got a lvl 55 nuker friend who can beat lvl 64 nukers wearing armor (w/out SOS of course) if she gets in the first nuke....agreed she wears full sos protector, for her lvl so thats everything except 2 pieces, and sos +5 52 spear but still it's incredible to beat someone 9 lvls higher than u wearing 8D stuff.
--garms / protector give u speed bonus, guess it helps when running away in job wars and grinding :)

Armor is an ok choice too because with garms strs will beat u but with armor nukers will often beat you :(

My advice: when in doubt, go for what looks better in your opinion :D

im hybrid int 1:5 and im wearing garment.
some time before i though that armor would be better, because i havent a lot of phy def... so a friend lend me her armor set fully pimped and i went pvp:
-full str usually killed me like before... and i almost didnt notice any help
-but... heres the problem: full int killed me too many times :D
so i got back to my garment set, but now im thinking about to wear protector... :/

and u wont have any problem at pve in garment, but maybe that is because im hybrid...
