Is it just me or are there "Professional Beggars and Con Artists at work in Silk Road?

These people with no gear or weapons who see your wolf or SOS weapon and then trundle up to you out of no-where and ask of you things like "10k plsssss" "gimme 10k" or my favourite "my wolf died gimme 10k for restore" WTF?????

Not only that but some try to engage you in an arguement when you say no.....Like being an ass will get you to fork over the cash.

So how many of these people actually get people to fork over cash which they then transfer to a working character and use at their leisure. If 10 people a day give them 10k, then the millions rack up pretty quickly....

I think a list, much like the scammers list should be started to "Name and shame" these gormless wonders..........

who's to say that these people aren't just using another character to gain funds for there main character?

i personally don't find them to be a problem, just ignore ignore ignore..and they get tired and move on. The players who really annoy me are the ones who ask you to level them, there more worthless.

They just don't understand that by asking for us to do it for them, how are "they" playing the game?! :x

Yeah I think there's ppl who make new accounts and beg for 10k nonstop every day.. I see lots of ppl doing this, also setting up stalls with weapon elixir and useless dodging scrolls right where ppl PvP.. But, of course the request to trade is considerably more annoying and constantly a problem now.. Ppl beg for money nonstop :(

Lol, I got to the point where I don't ever have my trade or party options enabled. Got tired of going out and jobbing and not only being bombarded with trades and party invites, but being lagged by noobs while fighting one of their friends. >.> It has become a problem I think xP

some people don't realize that they can't afford to keep a wolf alive at lvl20, or even 30. and just because i'm 7X doesn't mean i'm rich. i get barely ANY equipment drops, and what i do get i usually give to guild mates. i get JUST about enough gold each grind to buy the pots for the next one. no, i won't buy you a wolf. no i won't give you gold, and NO i won't powerlvl you. no one powerlvled me, and i hand-grinded myself to 73. if i powerlvl you that means i can't use my own ticket and i lvl MYSELF half as fast. so do me a favor and go eff yourself, and play the game the way i - and thousands of others across the servers - played it. gg.

I just say, yeah, sure let me go to stash and I'll give 50k. Then I go to my stash, and open up a trade window.

And then I go away for a while. I'd have people sit there talking to me for up to 20 minutes. :D

I did not invite him into my guild...I am GM....and there he was begging for cash!!!!!

I am worried my account is about to be hacked....

I generally go by the theory "Give nothing to no-one" unless they prove themselves........over and over and over, lol

If you're getting exchange spammed a great tool is your ingame options :)
It's in the last section (don't remember name) But you can uncheck the option for trade exchange and never have to deal with lowbies spamming you :P
