The security problem w/ that site is really overexadurated. True when u post on there ur account name is revealed, but it shouldnt matter if ur pass is hard to crack in the first place. But i can agree with theres not much to read. I quit posting in that forum because most of the topics were in all caps, theres no moderation, it seemed like no one was able to listen, there was mostly whiners and everyone kept posting the same topics over and over again. In short it made u do this alot

Also, you don't need the PW to gain control of someones account, you do need their ID however.
I sometimes read the official forums, sorry, but I got no idea what happenned.
-edit- They seem to be fine for me...

Bruteforcing programs ftw.... and if they know ur ID and email address, then find out your secret question (sorta easy if they know name) then they can get ur PW too.
Official forums ftl, its why I came to SRF .

True they can brute force ur pass w/ those 2 things and it is better to be safe than sorry, but ive posted on that forum since they changed to that format and i probably have the highest post count on that forum and i havnt got hacked yet and i get told every day "dont post on the main site ull get hacked." But i do agree its not too wise to post w/ ur main account on there, its not just the end of the world if u do is what im trying to say.

They should send a god damn confirmation link to our Emails!
If you wanna change your email you gotta approve it first -.-
If we could change our secret Q&A that would help too.
If we had to confirm everything through our Email, hacking wouldnt be so easy, unless you got a gay password and never thought about changing it.

Hopefully something like will be added once they have added the astral thing.
