Help! I feel like I am losing interest in sro!! I was sooo addicted to this game, but not anymore. I feel like I want to try something new, maybe WoW, but im too cheap. Is this a normal feeling? Will I get re-hooked on SRO? I don't want to have wasted all that time grinding...

I wouldnt lose interest at lvl 40... Currently lvl 5x... Still goin strong...

I can only imagine ppl at lvl 80 or lvl 70(b4 the update) lost interest as they have done basically everything that can be done in game.

What makes ppl push on?
1) Trading, hunting, thiefing
2) Grinding towards your next deg new gears
3) Guildmates that watch for your back
4) The urge of being one of the best in the server
Capping yourself and farm your characters to the max, Keeping 2 characters FULL STR AND FULL INT.

Even at lvl 80, u can look forward to the new patch... Try to lvl your jobs, u would be glad that u did when the new updates came.

True.

I tried WoW. And after playing SRO for so long, I just couldn't feel love for WoW like i do for SRO.

happened to me twice alreddy. once on my doomed lvl 46 pure str fire glaive and almost to my current hybrid KD nuker.

what i did on my second when she was lvl 56 was i bought gears that was about 2-3 levels above my current char then looked forward to wearing them and take SS's of her while running around jangan.

i also did draquish's advise. i played knight online which really sucked, then played Rakion which was really interesting coz it was pvp the whole time and if you're really good (ehem) a lvl 11 can always beat a lvl 26 anytime.

i like wasting time chatting and stalling.

When you reach lvl 70 or 80. << you will give up playing and end yourself with only memories (lol, like me, never have the chance to have the REAL FUN in silkroad, grinding all the time, sell to npc, grind again, pvp while bored, selling stuff by shout out..lolz.. that sux (alot)

Now im staying low level. Discovering the market and business in SRO. most of my time is stalling and chatting with guild mambers. (LAzy Leader)
never contributed that much sp. i go for quest when (if) i want to. buy and sell, making lots of profit, sitting chatting. Do some alchemy, grind for alchemy item, hire a person to gather alchemy item, lolz, that is what i call long time playing silkroad (with fun).

i dont need fame. i want fun. you want fun while playing sro?

I guess most stupid thing that mmo gamer could do is try comparing SRO to WoW. Btw, i lost my interest in SRO at lvl ~4x also... twice...

same here... yesterday i was already planning on selling my char.

maybe im just tired of pressing the spacebar again... coz my rabbit's gone and i dont have silk! :banghead:

i dont have the motivation to level my char anymore. Coz im used to having a rabbit pick my stuff. Manually picking ur drops + the freaking lag slows ur leveling speed. :banghead:

Same thing is happening to me right now. Best piece of advice I can give you when you take breaks from a game is invest so when you come back you will have $$$ :P.
