After long hours of battle, Merchants and Hunters regrouped and decided to continue their job activity in Silkroad.

Thieves also reorganized and planned for their retribution against merchants and hunters.

[Event Period]
November 16th ~ December 7th, 2010 Silkroad Standard Time (3 weeks)

Part 1: Trade Run with the GM
Event Schedule: November 16th ~ 30th, 2010 (2weeks)

- Event will be launched in the first day of the event after server inspection on November 16, 2010.
- Each server will be visited only once.

[Event Procedure]
1. GM will announce the start of the event in-game.
2. Merchants who want to participate should wear job suit, buy transportation and trade goods. Hunters and Thieves should also wear their job suits.
3. Merchants and Hunters should meet the Hunter GM at the town. Thieves should also meet the Thief GM in another town or area.
4. Hunter GM will rally the merchants and traders from starting point of the trade run and will lead to the end point of trade run. At the same time, Thief GM will lead the thieves to attack the caravan.
5. Trade run will be finished once merchants and hunters sell the goods and gain profit at the trade centers and/or if thieves rob and sell the goods at Stolen Goods Dealer at Bandit Den.

**Notice**
- Players that belong to any job class and of any job levels can join the event.
- No limit in the amount of trade volume. Participants may do 1- 5* trade.


Part 2: Trade Run Video Contest
Event Schedule: November 16th ~ December 7th, 2010

1. Players must make a video of the Grand Caravan using any video recording software and upload it in a Video Hosting Site.
2. The Video maker’s job alias must be visible in the video wearing a job suit and participating in the Grand Caravan.
3. Top 10 videos will win the event.

[How to submit a video?]
1. Take a video in-game during the event then upload it in a Video Hosting Site.
2. Log in to Silkroad Online official website. On the menu, click Community>GM Lounge> GM Journals
3. Click the post ’Event: The Grand Caravan Trade Run Video Contest’
4. In the comment section, write a simple introduction of the video, post the video link or URL then click Confirm.

**Notice**
- Character Name and Server of the video maker should be indicated in the video.
- Any post not related to the event will be deleted.
- Players with offensive/obscene/racist character names and job alias will be automatically disqualified.

[Rewards]
Winners will receive the following prizes:
1st Place: 11th Degree Seal of Nova Weapon (1 winner)
2nd Place: 10th Degree Seal of Sun Weapon (3 winners)
3rd Place: 10th Degree Seal of Moon Weapon (6 winners)

**Notice**
- The item that will be provided will be based on the primary weapon equipped on the winner’s character on Dec 14, 2010.
- Weapon prize is +0 and does not have any magic options.
- Players should leave an empty slot in his characters’ inventory on December 14, 2010, otherwise the item will not be provided.

its gonna fail everyone is gonna try to kill gm or no one will do it cause usually there is 1 main job in every server. so servers with alot of thiefs are gonna back out

It is a staged fight anyway, since the thieves know exactly where the caravan is.
At that time, it'd be best not to join that group as a low level trader/hunter.
The GM killing will also be a problem if they don't make themselves invalid targets.


It'd probably make more sense to introduce the long awaited changes to the trade system, then make a week or two of +200% profit.

Sounds like an interesting event. I think it said players of any level can join. I probably wouldn't last more than a few minutes as a thief since I'm only lvl 54. The very first hunter that sees me would probably be lvl 100+ and 1-hit me with a single punch.

I agree though, the GMs should make themselves invalid targets.

Couldnt participate in Athens, event happened right while i was at work. When i logged it was already done.

Event Fail... communication is horrible imo. They said to meet the thief GM at Bandit Den. I ran around the entire area, not a single person in sight. I got a feeling they posted the wrong spot or something. I gave up after 10 mins of searching. Traders found the trade GM right away since he was hanging out by the teleport in const...

You guys know everyone will be in City A, so its the best time to do a 5* from city F or G
