It's not fair when they pump in more Pay2Win items into the Cash Shop making the Free2Play gamers completely handicapped in PvP. If they market the game as a Free 2 Play game they should keep it that way. Stupid companies this days.

Is seriously Blizzard the only company that can do something right these days?

...no. the majority of players DONT pay, the minority of players are what keeps the game available to this majority. anyone who complains about getting to play a game they like for free, should just go play wow or aion.

I'd say stupid players who play this game these days. There are a lot people who have quited already, but I wonder how long does it take before Joymax ntoices this game is making profit, but its also dying.

Edit: CeLL, u are totaly right, and I actually think I was lucky getting banned, otherwise I'd still probably be there and Not in Aion.

But addicted somehow I guess, since I want to see whats happening in the game, and when will it die away, but no patience to return, to start grind all over again.

They can get those money by selling convenience items only, not something that boost your stats giving you a huge advantage for those who play for free. There is a reason why it's called Free 2 Play and not Free 2 Cap but after that you are crippled.

you're contradicting yourself here mate, let's see.

Complains are done that they're screwing around because it's a free to play game
You imply that free to play only means free to login
You somehow think Joymax doesn't have enough money to develop and maintain the game properly so you ask people to contribute even more, because obviously, having to spend around 40$ a month to be able to reach cap in like a year is just not enough in your mind
you think that people who don't buy silk are leeches.. so let me see, you say it's free to login, yet expect people to ONLY play if they buy silk... so.. what the hell really mate.

pirating the Modern Warefare games.

let see, hmmmp, oh yeah i have enough money to buy silk everyday cuz I have a decent job.
i can spend my money to whatever makes me happy or have fun.

All I'm saying is that we should give joymax a little bit of gratitude for this wonderful game they created. A lot of complains that joymax made this game worst cuz of goldbots, blah blah blah, and yet you can stop yourself playing cuz u really love this game so much. 90% of the complainants are non silkbuyers( oh yeah, I call them Leeches)

I think jomax is making alternative for the lost of gold bots, so they added new item mall products( I'm sure a lot of players would buy) to compensate the decrease if Premium items sales.

which would you prefer? more gold bots or more helpful item mall products? or both?

Plain and simple, Joymax is a company that is out for money. Suprise! They have employees to maintain. This is the Free2Play model:
- Free game.
- Free items.
- Lot of grind.
- Lot of time.

Or if you so choose to spend a little money, or alot whatever.
- Free game.
- Paid items that are really the same as the free items without the hassle and grind.(welcome to the VIP lounge everyone.)
- Less grid.
- Less time.

Sucks to be the player that doesnt pay, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Look at Nexon for example, all they sell is convinience items such as costumes, exp scrolls etc in their games. Nothing that impacts with the gameplay and give you any advantage whatsoever. Still they made 550 million dollars in revenue last year. It's simple... If you make a quality game players will support it with what ever the cash shop contains, as long the items in there isnt overpowered. What did you think I did in Allods? I spent over 100 euro just in 2-3 months since I thought the game would have a non-advantage cash shop and I wanted to support them but later on the cash shop become the most Pay2Win I ever seen even that they promised us players in Closed Beta that the cash shop should just sell convenience items.

it's posts like this one that prove that the only voice the SilkRoad community has is that of a whiny 15 year old. Joymax is not "greedy," they are merely a company that wants to survive during an economic recession. Welcome to today buddy. If there is a market, fill it.

Instead of going to a forum that NO member of the Joymax team visits (or has in recent memory), how about you vote with your wallet? Clearly the rest of the SRO community already has and thus Joymax has settled that people want these items, that people are willing to pay through the nose to get them. Sucks to be you, but this is the fact.

Get a job. Grow up.

The sad part is, this topic has been brought up many times before. People still don't get that Joymax still needs to make money to keep its game servers up and running. People still don't understand that no one is forcing ANYONE to pay to play this game.

And in the end, these topics only serve to up my post count. Thank you very mucho guys. I appreciate it.

Yeah I might have, but there is games out there that just sells convinience items and still getting 3x more of the profit than Joymax gets yearly which just proves that the Pay To Win business model fails, but as long people accept that you can win the game by paying huge amounts of money this will go on.

Cash Shop > Skill

you guys acting like bitches really, all i was saying is that you guys love talkin bout how this is still a free to play game yet say shit about people who don't, purposely, waste a cent with this game, it's kind of a contradiction.

Fyi, i've never played modern warfare games, but i must say it's very kind of you to throw shit at me like that, but it's k, i take it you're having a bad day and i forgive you, it's no biggie really.

And btw, i've stopped playing isro A LONG TIME AGO.

And why haven't you talked about the part where i said you were contradicting yourself? We're ALL proud of JM for creating such a fantastic and delicous game, that's why we're so disappointed, and you buying silk the way you do, are only supporting their way of doing things, that's why this world's such a fawcking mess, because of people like you.

"Get a job" "Grow up", what? you think you're the man just because you have a job and waste its money on a videogame? How come does that make you better than anyone? Ffs, stop talking like you're on some freakin pedestal, nobody was being aggressive but you just had a bad day and wanted to share your vibes with us right, seriously.
