Items like ure shield just gotta npc them before you waste all your elixirs on it and find another item thats luckier.

i do not think that item has its own luck.

based on experience in alchemy all items i ever tried to + its just a normal silkroad luck.

i have tried many items that have failed in +2,+3 many many times and i get it eventually to +7.
You just got lucky that time when u +5 your bow.
You cannot be lucky all the time.

Btw if you do not have enough budget for +4+5 an item, just ignore it. it will be cheaper if you buy +4/+5 items.

btw just leave your+3 shield and try +4 it some other day, maybe you will get lucky in the next day.

it normally takes me more than 100 elixirs to +5 an item.

They do, the in-game guide even says that each item has its own luck.

Alchemy is only retarded when you keep trying it and you don't noticed that you've racked up a 99% fail rate.

jm really needs to make it easier for the first few levels, but to +5/+6 and above, it should be the same...

It's always better just to get rid of the items that are eating way too many elixirs unless they're something like high deg sox items.
