I've changed server to Venus in case anyone is interested and i was missing from forum for around a week cos the forum had an error (again) that gave me a ban. SO! After the failure of my lv 55 warlock on Venus (and by failure i mean i kinda hated it...due to the incredible mp usage and it requires me to hit-and-run...) i've decided to take on another character so that i can have my fun without dying every 1min by a random champion I've already added my stats to STR so its either Rogue or Warrior I like Rogue cos it has xbow for PVE and dagger for PVP (btw sidetrack for a moment, do we have to use crossbow extreme for training? cos its kinda dangerous but without it its...weak) and also i can plvl my own characters with it. I like Warrior cos it can defend and tank and 2h swords look smexy (another sidetrack, when does warrior start doing good damage? i had a warrior on pheonix and it seems kinda weak :X, correct me if im wrong ok!) and also my union and outside parties are in demand of warriors Also, which sub shld i take? thanks for your help in advance

Hmm, Rogue's and warriors are both good builds. your choice.
take subclass cleric if you wanna tank/buff, take warlock if you wanna own even more at PVP, but you gotta farm millions of SP.

iv had both a rouge and a warrior both at lvl 50 (no subs) and can say i liked rouge a lot better. as a warrior you can easily tank by yourself and not have to worry about dieing. but grinding is very slow not the best for pve. i didnt do much pvp cause i didnt have a sub so i lost a lot of battles. i would recommend a cleric sup. Rouge is is the class i enjoyed the most of all the classes. good in both pvp and pve. you can use crossbow extriem when training but you should always be aware of the enemys around you. it usually takes 2-3 hits to kill you so if your hit, cancel it right away. xbow also worst amazingly well in ctf. your range is unbeatable to any other class and you can easaly take out int classes in 1 hit. downside is you have to carry bolts.

Both Rogue and Warrior survives ok in PvE. For Rogue, u just need to be extra careful, i would recommend going Green mobs. That way, its 1 hit all the time. Faster lvling. Warrior, will certainly survive, but prepare for alot of KSing.

Just go Rogue Xbow for the fast lvling. Leave Dagger out... If you can, take Bard for the Speed and Noise. It will be great. This build take the least SP.

Dagger does nothing for leveling right? its just for pvp right? I'm thinking...of going cleric since its a better pvp choice? or is bard still better? please comment on this!

Well, for using Xbow, bard is better coz then you can grind with extreme on (Don't constantly have mobs attcking you). Daggers are just for pvp, they are the slowest at leveling. And for pvp, cleric pwns bard, but for pve, it depends what you like; sacrificing speed for def with cleric, and vice versa with bard.

rogue = stealth attacks. Go bard for the speed.
Xbow is for grinding alone. Dagger is for grinding in a pt. I doubt many would enjoy partying with a rogue if all he does is kb kd with his xbow.

Rogue/Bard +1 Xbows are helpful in pt as long as they don't over do it with the kb and kd. They are good lurers. Daggers are helpful for backup damage as long as they don't detract from the healer's attention by getting killed because they are attacking something the tank hasn't pulled.

I would recommend Rogue/Bard over Rogue/Cleric. Sure Rogue/Cleric are better for PvP BUT, the SP required is quite heavy. Rogue/Bard is the way to go imo. U would b glad that u have Bard when u are lvling in the caves... Its like 1 million miles away.
Edit: I am not saying i don't like Warrior, but the SP required turns me away. Rogue = solo Warrior = pt play/solo

Damage is the last thing that is needed if you already have a full party.

larrylhm wrote: Ok 2 more questions before i choose my build Is Rogue good in party? and how is warrior's damage compared to a rogue's? thanks guys Rogue is not wanted in PTies, so if you want ppl to accept you, you will need your Tambours from Bard. Bare in mind that you CANT cast Mana Orbit due to lack of MP, if you really want to use Mana Orbit, you need to Pimp your gears with Full INT and MP. Comparing the damage output, Rogue will be dealing higher damage with Xtreme on. Warrior 2H does great damage BUT, Rogue has the advantage of range. So its much much faster.
