I mean the first time is forgivable, but you failed an edit to fix your fail. fail at failing, no that's not a double negative. I'll fix it for you, it should read: "No need for a long speech, just look at this bold text."

voltis5 wrote: ITT: why do people care about spell checks and grammar so much? it is easier to read. When the brain encounters a word with a familiar letter combo, it can easily skip past it, knowing what is said. But if it is written incorrectly, you have to actually read the entire word letter by letter, or if grammatical, try to decipher what is being said. Or just to be a dick.

This forum is a cesspool of grammar mistakes. It is pointless to sit here and try to correct every single one. Quote: The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. Azanmig huh? yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot slpeling was ipmorantt! Though this ugly sentence is easily comprehensible, it is irrelevant, as the issue is grammar, which, not only arguably excludes spelling, but also relies on the order in which words are presented, as well as the matter in which they are presented. This will not work. Will this not work?
Notice, the first is a statement in which the explanation of the possibility of something succeeding is dismissed, whereas the other asks if the possibility of something succeeding can be dismissed. To further the example, we can then purposely make a mistake by "innocently" replacing the question mark with a period, thus only adding to the confusion. Will this not work. Now, watch the first sentence and how the meaning then changes again when made into a question. This will not work?Which is now questioning someone's previous statement, whereas it could have been interpreted as agreement with a period. Also, though your example works, that person looks profoundly stupid, and, like word choice, this presentation will probably effect the gravity of your point in the human mind.

Improper word usage is grammatical. Quote: and i don't really get your post , i get your concept , but what are you tryin to apply it to? =.=" Language in general; the reason why people care about grammar and the differences between spelling and grammar.

Improper word usage is grammatical. Lol, think we're looking at different posts xD, but i was sure it started from here :p HolyPure wrote: ow and yeah... a lot have changed... its mutch more worser just try another sro version like ECSRO or Csro Mutch is not a word, and for additional info, worser is not one either xD, can't be improper word usage, if the words don't exist, so i'm pretty sure it's more logical to take it as a spelling error/typo
