What is your experience with the hawks like? Are both (blue and light) needed?
A union mate claims that the lightning hawk is useless and that he only uses the blue hawk.
Is the hit ratio increase superior to the physical attack of the lightning hawk?

I've always liked the Black and Lightning Hawks more. Attack Rating, like Parry Ratio doesn't make a big difference.

I'll bet you $1000 that the Hawk's damage will be more than the slight attack increase you get from AR.

Attack Rating, like Parry Ratio doesn't make a big difference. use a trigger scroll and see the difference, Trigger scroll: 30% difference, hawk: 8.25% (relative to my current hit ratio). Now tell me if it makes the same difference in my case compared to the light hawk.

I'd take a 80% parry ratio over any other white on a garment. Do you even know what attack rating does..? level 98 staff: Mag. attack power 3368 ~ 4010 Higher attack rating means that you will hit closer to the 4010 most of the time. Big difference.

Oh my god, of course I know what AR does. IMO it's still not very good. Just MAYBE there's a CHANCE that you will hit TOWARDS your max damage. I'd much rather take Hawk damage over that. And this isn't about 80% PR on your whites. This is about like a 10% increase in AR.

Tsume wrote: I've always liked the Black and Lightning Hawks more. Attack Rating, like Parry Ratio doesn't make a big difference. parr does, but not much with that weak light buff. mostly only with dodging scrolls. most noticable while fighting people who hit alot, i.e. bladers(chains) or many green mobs bashing you. OT: Attack hawks for a full str bower since the attack is low anyway and the attack hawk will be hitting high compared to the bowers attacks Attack rating hawks for more int sided bowers (1:1-full int) since they have a very high damage and the attack hawk wont make much of a difference in the massive damage out put. so its to maximize the massive damage. ... joymax should've made both hawks accessible at the same time

If there is any truth to what the last hawk book does(from what i saw on Konpaku), then it might be worth it to bet both types of hawk. EDIT: from http://www.silkroadonline.wiki.br/skill ... =740#skill Mastery 120 MP 4.189 Required skill Lightning Hawk Summon Level 12 Continuous hours 900 Secound Physical attack power 4.744 Attack rating 41 Increase But again, this is supposed to be at lv 120, so take it for what it's worth.

I have both farmed but I like Lightening Hawk a bit more because it does a considerable amount of damage maxed. But like I said I have both farmed so I switch it up every now and again.
AR is important BUT I think its funny when someone dies to my Lightening Hawk lol
