Most people can. Just turn off Shadow - Detailed, put it to Shadow - Circle or none at all. Most PC's could do that.

I believe, there's no such PC, who could run SRO on max settings without problems. If there's one, please tell me. Sumthing wrong with shadows, I mean detailed...

I thought they fixed detailed shadows. It worked on my PC a while ago, I just run without them on.

I ran sro at 1280x720 with full settings and get around 120fps, with no shadow detail. If i put full shadow detail i get about 10fps.

Only I have radeon 9800XT, which is broken now And yea it runs sro at max settings pretty easily, if I don't have too much applications running of course.

Because my old monitor I used a year ago supported 1280x1024 and I was able to run everything high with shadow detail. But now the monitor I'm using now is 1680x1050 and detailed shadow chops my FPS down

First 1024, later 1280 and 1600. Never had any problems.

I don't feel like reinstalling that godforsaken game to check the exact frame rate. Like I said: I never had any problems with the highest settings on or whatsoever, FPS was good. No clue why so many others do.

I run all setting on High and run Shadows on Detail. The only thing I have off is Bloom Effect. It's too bright for my tastes

No clue why so many others do. You don't have to. You might have a frame rate of 15, which most people would consider low and unplayable, but maybe it just doesn't bother you. So what was needed was your definition of "no problems". Since people with faster machines have trouble running with shadows, it seemed reasonable to assume that maybe your fps was very low.

The shadows are bugged. My Onboard GPU ran them better than my GTX 285 leading me to believe certain PC's will be able to run them half assed while the majority of computers will tell them to die in a fire. Sro isn't really based on your graphics card, it's more RAM related. The problem is SRO has a case of memory leak. 1-2gb of ram and any graphics card should run the game on max (without shadows of course).

e6750, 8800gtx 768mb, 2gb ram, max settings all 1680x1050 res is smooth is hotan at 90 cap, smooth when grinding solo & pvp in a packed dw, but doing 5 star specials double spawn with multiple traders can get really choppy and just crash the pc, also grinding in 8 pt mobs with other parties nearby can crash the pc too, i keep a fan on my pc at all times to keep the gtx temps below 75 degrees.

BSOD? i was getting these recently, usually upon opening SRO, but very rare times it would do it by simply loading windows. I eventually got sick of this crap and took my computer completely apart and put it back together again. work perfect now. BSODs main causes are insufficient power supply (or a dieing one), or some other hardware failure, usually ram. i did get these awhile ago when i installed my fifth hard drive. BSOD instantly. unplugged one of my unnecessary case fans and that fixed that one. now i am down to 3 hard drives. EDIT: i figured it was the ram because SRO uses a lot of ram and when it would access a bad section of the ram while loading, you would get a BSOD. I figured one of my ram chips was lose. I remember now i took out a gig of ram to put it in my gf's computer to see if that would make a huge difference for SRO on her computer, guess i didnt put it back in my computer all the way.
