To block someone without the effort of actually typing their name all you have to do now is click on them or their chat so it comes up with $<name> then what you do is using your arrow key go to the front of their name and delete the $ so now you have <name> then type /ban so you would get /ban <name> this will add that person to your block list.

Total awesome win

You can also join people to a guild by doing /join <name>

do they still have to be in range to guild them? or can you guild some one while i'm partying and they are in town, thatd be nice, i think i'll test if i no one has tried it.., doubt they'd make it that easy though

Nice that's pretty usefull. Just tried the /join thing and it doesn't work when you're out of range (atleast I tried it with one in hotan/one in dw and it didn't work)

Well at least that /ban thing is really useful. Does anyone have a full list of the / commands?

kewl, months / years after this easier blocking method was in softmod or testosterone JM finally adds it.
I must ask, how long did "un-legit" people have autopot before JM implemented that? I wasn't around way back then.

upload the file sro_client.exe for me, I'll tell you the list of commands; possible GMs commands and may not usable by players or not implemented.

I usually just use /redname <name> to make people murderer. I don't know why everyone wastes so much time doing the horse trick or any other trick...

Seriously though, I'll have to remember that /ban command. Does that block the user in global chat only, or is there a separate command to block whispers?

They need a /makeGM command (similar to su in Linux to gain root) so I can become GM.
