to be honest yeah i think the bots will get changed so they can avoid these things but seeing as they are getting banned for dying too many times alot of bots are going to be banned and we just need to hope that as the bots get updated joymax updates the danger alert things

Also i heard that there are some bots that could avoid any mobs if the user had told them to, but those bots must use autowalk i think. It can take another rout in certain radius to avoid being hit. Heard that back while ago from my friend, don't know if it's true. These mobs don't require being attacked. As long as they are beyond the "Avoid Statue of Justice" mobs, they are dead. So even if they ignored em, it wouldn't work. I don't think Jm will put em in training areas if they get the Job done at the gates. Plus is can hinder the legit players gameplay after they just cleared up nearly every single grinding area lol. More room for us And about them taking other routes, they would need to edit their scripts to do so. But then hopefully a Gm would move the statue to the most common walk point.

you can still be killed in splash damage if you get too close to the warning mobs. Joymax should change its settings the splash damage should be inside the warning mobs. I was killed by it 2times when i was taking screen shots. I wasn't even that close the the warning mobs.

i just had a good idea in relation to this new one and i dont know i havent given much thought to it but would it be good if theyre could be mobs in normal mob groups that only have a difference like say a red name or something like that but are as strong as these statues?

Nice one Joymax. I've seen it ingame and yes they are working but just like you said. The GM's have to be moving them around which I highly doubt they will. Maybe for a week but after that they'll just stop caring once again probably. hey you quit the game... i know its hard to believe JOYMAX DID SOME THING GOOD!(wait am i actually saying this ) its true.. first time they do some thing right i hope it stays the same way ^^ Oh I'm not saying they didn't do something good, this sure is a great start but I'm only wondering how long it will last seeing how all their other attemps stuck for maybe a week. With an added increase of GM activity this might actually work.

This is just some random thing I'm throwing out there. Food for thought I suppose. Meh...*shrugs* Anywho, for all those who are all like "Joy max won't ban high level botters cause their the only ones who buy silk *or whatever*" aren't thinking it through. Apparently, neither is JM but yeah. IF isro ever became legit like it used to or whatever I sure has hell wouldn't mind spending 20-30 dollars on it. I'm pretty sure a lot of other people feel the same way. Joymax just needs to realize this before sro 2 comes out. Leave Sro 1 for the bots. Let us legits have sro 2.

And btw, I just saw two botters on Tigris confessing that they would stop botting from not on after they lost 5 lvls due to the new lvl 140 bot monsters. So... it's actually helping, lol.

@HuNt3rMx Those could simply be player's gold bots, unless u see a mass amount of gold bots bypassing the statues then they havent patched it

This is the bot and i following him, in case someone asks:
so the bots already bypassed the antibot mob...GG You do know it's a simple Edit in something as simple as notepad to change the coords. And that is a single bot. So they aren't avoiding it with anything except just not running straight into them with their script. Which is why the only way this will be effective is if Jm moves them from time to time. AND the only ones that'll prolly be mega trapped, are the masses of goldbots that use the same coords as each other. Good enough for me if it stays populated =]

system is pretty good for now, Gm's will probably move them when they see goldbots avoiding them ALSO: notice that this statues are not in alexandria are only for "goldbots"

Another while zerking to try and intercept a trade run. -_-. Shit's getting annoying. If i get banned for this ima be pissed.

I'd rather them focus on Goldbot over player bots because they are the reason servers are so dam crowded. If they manage to keep the goldbots gone, THEN go after the normal bots. Not two things at once. JM prolly can't multitask very well. getting rid of Bots and getting rid of Goldbots are 2 separate issues.

The way I see it, all bots are a menace to the game and should be dealt with simultaneously. I don't have extensive knowledge in this area, but aren't those so called "normal bots" developed and issued by the same companies that run the goldbots and sell gold? Also, I can well believe that most of the high level botters do sell gold to the goldbot companies, thus support their business. In my opinion, you can't expect to completely eradicate the goldbots from the game, without making a serious impact on the player-bots and the gold-buyers as well.

No gold bots / player bots are very different in game. A player bot is only 1 person botting like a noob. But goldbots as you can see are the bigger threat. That's why if I had to choose, I'd easily say get rid of the goldbots if it meant player bots stayed. If they can get rid of both, then that would be great also. I'm just saying I'd prefer goldbots that crowd the server and the game hard to even log into. I once spent 6 hours waiting on the auto login before I logged in and dced a measely 30 minutes later. Thanks to the goldbots being gone I can log in and out whenever I want. EDIT: Ugh! I was running in the general direction of where i was heading to train so I clicked straight.. forgot about the bot mobs.. took a bite of ice cream and look up... "OH SHIT"

lol at blackdragon. that happened to me the first time i logged in after the update. i'll never forget it now though. and. "OH SHIT" Yeah, the only difference is now everyone asks for plvl in their 20's and 30's as there are no goldbots to "ride" at ongs or bunwangs or huns or golems. It'd be nice if everyone just re-thought "hey, I should actually party with these people I'm in game with" but it doesn't seem to be happening yet. Oh, yeah, on Iris there was a bot-killing statue way out by the Pamir Plateau with no "danger avoid" statues around it. I was clicking far ahead and running while I looked away - due to noise nothing really bothers me - looked back from surfing and went "wtf, where did that come from?" Oh well, at least I'm done with my niya shamans quest and won't be going back much.

it's definitely working, at least until bot makers work around. However there are some people still botting (my friend that used to play said that some bots have a work around where you can set the path you want the bot to run by recording it).
I'm assuming these are the ones who are still playing, though it was so nice at penons with noone there. I was in heaven
