Jealous? I wouldn't be jealous of people getting power leveled. I've been offered many times, and I've refused. It's not that hard to find someone willing to do it.

People that do it might be helping out the legit hand grinders that are trying to actually play the game instead of sitting on a horse. I suppose it's one thing to sit on a horse and get power leveled in a secluded area (although I'm not really into that myself). It's a whole other story when you get a bunch of plvl parties, all over the area where someone else wants to grind.

"Find another spot to hand grind?" Why not "Find another spot to plvl?" It's kind of pathetic when I can go out onto the ice at the penons to perhaps work on a quest, and just about every penon spot is overrun by lvl 90+ people (legit or bot) and I can't get in a decent kill. Sometimes the legit plvlers are better about not KSing, sometimes not.

I am not saying i support bot's... god no ! But i highly dounbt that any legit in this forum who gets plvled would pay 110% attention if somebody uses bot to plvl people, and refuse to pay for plvl.


Player Bots are just part of the game for now, and i think we just need to wait and be patient in till we can have a active player game. Which I still think will happen in the future sometime.

This wasn't originally about whether or not it's good or bad...powerFARMING is fine with me, powerleveling is fine, but there should be a happy medium.

We all know (or should) the pains of getting enough SP to even come close to usefulness...I have to keep a 4 gap, and I farmed only a little bit at ongs (25k). I can't imagine people having any fun with a 5-6 gap just to get SP.

Top this off - powerlvl has been "doable" for over a year now. Joymax has shown NO inclination to "fix" it. Much less so than banning bots, so my guess is it's here to stay. I'm not going to go out and rain on someone's parade just because they chose to play the game a different way (which as I pointed out, Joymax has done nothing to prevent, as opposed to botting). And of course I've benefitted from powerleveling too. I've just found it a lot more fun to party and a lot more challenging.

As with any MMO you'll have people that make it a point to attempt to control how others play. It's just part of the drama. I've had people show up at our partying spot to try to powerlvl and tell us to move...well, a good party can easily outdamage a capped wiz, or frustrate him enough that he leaves.

A large percent of powerlevelers are bots. Simply ask quickly 'are you there?'. If yes, move on, if no, kill everyone. No one is jealous, so don't try to start a flame war.


This seems like a lame excuse to get powerleveled by a bot. Just ask, "do you bot?" It's as simple as that.
