There was this guy who joined our guild for awhile. He was really like Santa Claus, we posted what we want and he bought it for us. I'm not going to name that person cuz i don't want him to get spammed, but that was very generous of him. Thank you.

Now that i'm farming, i get a lot of drops that i don't need, so i'll just randomly drop it in front of a noob.

so i guess he needed 20k.
So i trade him, gave him 20k, and he sat right in front of me...
and kept begging for more from everyone that walked out the gate

lameeeee

i try to help someone out and he continues to beg some more, guess being nice just doesnt pay off these days =/

My little contribution to people in need was yesterday. I know a guy who is Lv 59 and has just been hacked left with no sp, mostly arrows in his inventory :? lol, and about 50k gold, he was trying so hard to get back onto his feet so i just gave him 500k. I don't know why but i just felt like it. After all it is just a game and i make that kind of money in minutes so meh. We are now good friends and he is nearly back to the stage he was at before he was hacked.

During my earliest days (when I was still fairing the game) I gave a Lv 21 SOS +6 bow, for the reason that they were new and still comprehending the game just as much as me. Not only that, their gear wasn't so great or at least decent. All NPC. I'd figured that she needed help so I gave it to the person for no amount. Also, I've helped some people I knew and trusted in buying them silk. A decent amount, their reward to me for that was aiding me in Trading. I lend a helping hand whenever it is needed. For those who can't afford to get excellent equipment or decent ones. Better way of making friends to strangers or friends. Whichever works!

yep..it is just a game..im not saying go toss your items away..just take it easy folks..i got my first SoS (lvl52) robbed before by a KSer..usually, people would start smashing their keyboards and cursing the guy out..but then again..it's just a game..it's not like anyone's planning to play SRO for 10 years. :)

~~~~~~~~
on the contrary though, the reason why it's so hard to just give away stuff to strangers is you never know when the day will come they'll level past you, ks you, and steal your items. and sad to say, that's 90% of SRO. dishonest, self-centered, and ungrateful.
Guildies help me out a lot, and I always try to help them out in return also.
However, the nicest things not involving guildies.
On my first character on oasis (1:1 hybrid lol), I was level 16 looking for a lvl 16 glavie. However I couldn't find one. And I couldn't afford an NPC one. Some guy PMs me saying he will help me look and I thank him. After no luck, 5 minutes late he comes back, and trades me a spear+2( i think), and says its not as good, but it will do the job till lvl 18, me having not see a +2 weapon before, was very impressed, thanked him greatly, thinking 10k was a lot of money, and went on happily.
Of course I res people when I see them (upto lvl 23), and help a trader if I see one in need. But I don't really have many feats to be proud of, and I'm not going to make them up just to sound good(however I do believe I am a friendly player, and if someone did ask for help I would help them).
