you say you have the play time of lvl 75, but you dont
lvl 48 + lvl 49 + lvl27 NOT EQUAL TO PLAY TIME OF LVL 75

i think you are a newb, *thinking again*
same conclusion reached

have a good day

*cough* ...48+49+27=???

Awnser: 124 (I graduated from grade school too  )

I didn't make this post for people to randomly flame because there weenees are too small...

I posted this to let people know who I am, how I am, and where I have been.

Does anyone think before they flame or is it just something to do because you are an insecure little tard with nothing better to do?

Quote of the Day: "It doesn't matter if you are a noob in a game, but if you are a noob in real life."

u know full well that that equation is wrong
yes, and i am aware of my racial flaws, u dont not need to tell me about it
LOL

rofl newb
u tell us to not flame but instead u flame us
the fact is NO ONE cares about who you are or where u are from

.....

Do you people even listen to yourselves think before you hit the goddamn Submit button?

Its like this in every forum I have ever been to...

These arent online discussions!

...its just a glorifyed competetion of who can top who!

The vaildity in some of the things you hear in a forum is HIGHLY obscured.

Weather you think I am stating the truth or not is found in your own decision...but I make a habbit of telling the truth and trying to add as much detail to what I say without straying from the main topic at hand.

...ok...now I am ranting and this thread is not meant for ranting.

I would just like to know why people get more enjoyment out of kicking someone in the balls instead of giving them a fair "pat on the back" ...even if it is something very simple.

Double Post *Needs to be done*

I would also like to ask why we are basing this on a timeframe or adding the time it takes to get to a set level... *reads his first post* ...all I was trying to point out here is that I have been around for a while and I know my way around the game...not trying to f**king brag.

Even I know that just because I have been playing for a long time doesn't give me braging rights.

[No, killing a Shakram at Lv 48 does! XD] <---Joke

Some of you are just reading a little too much into what you THINK the point it rather than what the point actually IS.

Granted...I started to flame back...but some of you get really annoying with just randomly tossing "noob" around like its alright.

It is cruel and degrading.

Noob comes from the word newbie. Newbie defined by the game is generalized from Lv 1-20...big deal! ...but the word n00b, another commonly used game slang is more of a derogatory comment usually used as an offence.

I would concider myself, HONESTLY as an Advanced Player.

Not good enough to be Pro, not bad enough to be Novice.

Oh yeah...while I'm on that topic...are the people who botted from Lv 1-70 Pros or Noobs?

*Never Botted*

One more thing I think should be noted.

I have an Xfire account...but it's only been active for about 5 months.

My Xfire reads somewhere near 1000 hours of time on SRO.

My phycal time of playing SRO has been a near total of 3500 hours.

A lot of 24 hour+ sit down periods. <---COMPLETELY TRUE! (Just ask my family)

If that doesn't count for something...well...I guess it just doesn't really matter because its still more than a bot has ever ran full tilt.
[I know stuff about botting because I do the research so please don't get started on THOSE flames bacause I won't even pay attention to that garbage.]

noob means different things in different games ...in this games its all about the amount time u spend and what you got to show for it, rather how far you can take your character. If you really spend that many hours playing and all you have to show for it are a few mid /low level chars than that just seems kinda noob to me  just stick with one and grind it to the cap..no botting tho cuz we all know those don't count anyway. Just focus on one take it all the way than you'll be pro, u can retire and go raise some little noobs for fun.

I've had my fair share of characters too, furthest ove got so far is 58.

i'm no noob either, the people posting negatively towards the OP probably have no real expereince of playing their character through the levels

Hmm...lets see here...every time I get to Lv 20 - Trade runs. Lv 30 - Trade runs. Lv 35 - more Trade runs.

...and so on and so on...

My main excuse for not being Lv 52+ already on this one is because I have been stuck teaching my OLDER brother how to play...and when I am done doing that...heh...all I want to do is just go slack off.

I go PvP or find a few traders to help along there way.

I'm not in a big hurry to get to a high level because then the fun of playing goes down and its all grinding, grinding, grinding.

Granted it will be fun when I AM a Lv 80...meh...the novelty will wear off rather fast in my opinion.

The time somebody has been around doesn't really matter much. I mean seriously, whether or not you were here since the beginning or time or not isn't going to affect how much of a noob you are ^^. I know plenty of people who have been here since the beginning of Troy and are still huge noobs. [Troy opened in October, 2005] But since we are talking about how ancient we are ^^. Time for some reminiscience.

I was here...
-Before babel, before troy, xian, and aege. I played on the silly thing called the Global server or something like that.
-Before lag was simply considered part of the gameplay
-Before auto potting... good pvpers knew WHEN to pot. Status affect were actually a bitch to deal with. [And when it did lag... you were almost guaranteed to be dead. Be it zombie or your hp in general.]
-Before we were all clothed. Yay for naked people!
-Before the bots took over. A bot used to be sooooo advanced that all he would do was stand in one place and kill all the monsters it could reach...
-Ice bladers were considered Gods... Everybody hated them, and almost nobody could kill them. [Granted, the ice bladers had trouble killing everybody else too, but at least they had time on their side.]
-Items had some farked up names, and they stretched a long ways too. Shit like general ching chang chong blade of happiness. [sarcasm] [a real example = warlord;s horseman bow (including misspelling ^^)]
-Nobody new shit about the game... We didn't know what anything meant; be it quests, skills, or builds in general. Message boards like Tavern were actually useful as we all made guides for each other and discovered the game as we played it. [Mind you, this is probably why I enjoyed SRO the most.]
-Before we had int and str. [It used to be mental power and power respectively]
-Before we were promised a perm character. Wipes were fairly common. [And bitched at]
-Before we understood the concept of farming... If anybody farmed, they went for at most 10k sp.

And I could go on and on ^^

OMG another Alpha player! I can remember them saying "This is the last wipe" and everyone saying, "Yeah right!" LOL

I can remember when we discovered how thieving worked. lol "OMG why cant I kill you?!!!! H4X!" LOL It didnt say in the guide very clearly that one star meant thieves cant attack it.
