I'm all for improvments, but its like trying to turn scro into some strict catholic school game or something lol..

Make a level system where player hunters/thieves cannot attack another jobber that is 10 levels away from them. My suggestion is to make the ranges until you are level 35 you can only attack trades within 5 levels of you. After that the limit is 10 levels.
God no, that would suk >_>, rampant noobs running around knowing you cant touch them, just no.. Really part of the fun of games is noobs dieing, I mean cmon, what kind of twisted world would we live in where we couldnt kill noobs?... lol :x

and your the reason people bot.

yawn, some people have jobs family's etc. just because you played 6 months longer than someone doesnt make them a noob.

you know they wouldnt have to compete with you if you'd attack players your own level.

lol you dont know a thing about me.

Playing 6months longer then some ppl means nothing, there is a few ppl I know started even before me and I was still higher then, and not to mention those who did start in alpha had the same chance because of the wipe to beta.

Thats not an excuse for botting btw, and I don't atk just lower lvls, saying that makes you sound pretty stupid considering your probably not even on xian.

I'm done with this forum. I never expected to be be accused of "talking out of my anus" for merely posting some suggestions collected from the forum mixed with a few of my own. This will be my last post, I just have to respond to this.

How so very honorable of you. So low levels should just not do ANYTHING except level so they don't get killed every time a high level comes into the screen? That is such utter crap. It isn't my fault I just started a month ago. Mindsets like yours is EXACTLY why these kinds of things are needed. Unless you'd rather just have all traders run 1* and thieves won't be able to touch them when JM puts in the changes, but because of this no trader will risk a higher star if they can run 1* with no risk. Sounds really sucky to me. But what DOES sound fun is to have no protection, but only have to worry about players our level so we have a chance. I'd gladly give the chance to die at fair and square and lose my cargo to another low level, because there would be some hope to winning. It would be a challenge where you don't know the odds. If any high level could kill us then it just just straight suicide.

And I don't care about how is "has been in everygame", I never liked any MMORPG because of ppl like that until I found this one. JM has TRIED to make things fair but loopholes were found. I think they could close them this way.

Also, are you saying your whole motivation to become a high level was to kill new players? You sound like a jerk.

Dont EVER play a real pvp game . There are no flags safe zones or jobs you wander outta ure noob zone or the enemy decides he wants to noob hunt and its on regardless at most some games give you a 1-5 lvl buffer but not more.

The more i read your post the more ridiculous it is sooo now you want to be free of higher lvl player too hell why dont they just hand you 200 mill at char creation and give you the option to choce your starting lvl and skills too.

It is clear that JM has made attempts to make it fair for lower lever players starting out with the 1* protection. Yeah, fling the "noob" insult like most children do, fact is it takes months of playing this game pure grinding before you are a high level that we don't have to worry about being fodder to satisfy some kid who's mommy never hugged him. The job system is made available at level 20, and the idea is that we are supposed to be able to job then. Under my proposal we'd still be in danger from all of the other players within 10 levels of us doing their jobs. So don't act like I just want my game to be easy. I made these suggestions to make the game fun for the months it takes to go from level 20 to 60. Player thieves, hunters, and traders. The only thing that wouldn't happen is stupidly high levels wouldn't be able to grief "noobs". There would still plenty of motivation to grind to level, in order to view and play the rest of the game.

Allow players to open a stall, then disconnect and the stall will remain open , which will NOT cause lag because it is not dependant on the players computer or internet connection ANYMORE, with a max time of 8 hours for a stall, and a cool down period thereafter to avoid players gaming this system. When players log back in they will take their stalls back over.

You do realise that your talking directly out of your anus here right? That would cause more lag and more congestion now instead of the burden of your char being split between the server and ure puter ure dumping on a server that can barely handle the load it has now . Thats why the clientless bot caused so much lag.

Just like your post prior to this one, you have NO CLUE as to how software or computers work. I maintain client/server systems and write software for a living, and I'm quite good at it. One, no you can't determine what packets are from bots because they are IDENTICAL from real packets from a client, that is why they WORK, and why JM can't block them. Two, clientless bots caused lag because the server was still waiting from updates from them before sending YOUR client the updates. You have no idea that nearly ALL LAG is due to the other players clients, NOT THE SERVER. It is common to have users think it is the server's fault but the truth is it is almost always caused by the clients. That server's cpu is barely running, I promise you. Do you honestly think a server on a high end line with a ton of bandwidth is ACTUALLY performing worse than 10k misc clients running around the world?

You are so classy. Really. When you finish middle school perhaps you will have developed a bit of tact and know when you have no idea what you are talking about.

Please let this whole thread be deleted/locked or sink to the bottom. There are some right intelligent people on this forum, that I discussed with in other threads, but if there are this many users like this one here who can't engage in a proper discussion, then I'm not going to bother posting here any more. Ban me or delete my posts or whatever, I don't care.

Have it so that every now and then(as often as a unique spawn) all the towns get sieged by a horde of monsters and everyone has to defend the towns.

I think once in a while the town NPCs should close down their shop and go NUTS! Picture the Blacksmith in Hotan running around throwing all his spears at everyone near him. The NPCs already have an HP bar. When they turn into "killer mode" they'd be like a unique and people in town would have to work together to kill the NPC and get the shop back.
