Hey man, @ least he's trying, he likes this game as much as you do. Learning the language IS a usefull life-skill, BUT he does NOT have to learn it, he could just keep to himself or talk to ppl that speak his language, or TRY to communicate with you guys

If Ksro was Isro and everything was in Korean...you kinda know the language....but you dont know. Now you're just strolling along try to communicate with some people, they make fun of you in korean....you go on...you find a friend that speaks your language....months later you make a guild of people that speak your language, you throw a global...there we go again, you earn a bad reputation...by that time you already know SOME MORE korean...Agh! Im rambling again!

In conclusion: Its not about race, accent, launguage, sex, beauty(but i g2 admit tho, beauty has effect on how you approach a person, or if you're gonna aproach them at all....)

Most of the SRO racism towards a whole race starts sorta like this:

10 viet users create 1 guild, maybe 1 of them CCFs and gives free shit to the others or maybe he buys gold and does that. Now they all have very nice gear and shit and can kill a lot of people in PvP. The whole guild is viet but only 1 person has done wrong but they are all strong, the people who get killed by them get mad and start saying "All viets CCF and buy gold and bot" which then starts wars between guilds.

There are to many immature people who play this game, everyone is trying to be e-tough. I have found a working method, when you SpiritPower and khang posting shit about something retarded, WHY ARE YOU POSTING? You understand that makes them happy and just raises the power they have over you. Ignoring people like this is your best choice, some times you might get mad ya but most of the people on SRF and in SRO in general talk about how they hate immature people yet they themselves are pretty immature.

Remember, age does not define if a person is immature or not, the person's actions do.

Age does not DIRECTLY correlate to your maturity. This is completely true. BUT. Your age certainly does indirectly indicate your maturity level. An average 15 year old simply does not have the amount of real world experience, discipline, and self-reflection an 18 year old would. And you can't argue that. Note I said your average 15 year old compared to your average 18 year old. Of course there are exceptions like a kid growing up literally on the street and amid crime and violence, compared to a dumbass punk 18 year old who doesn't think enough and does way too many drugs.

Anyway. I used to say the same shit, that your age has nothing to do with your maturity, it's how you act. And like you guys said, that's true too. But trust me, with every single year your mentality and the way you think will change. Sometimes you don't really even realize it. We are always changing. We level up, and there is no cap heh heh.

Let me say this again. It's not necessarily racism. It's bigotry. LOok it up.

A lot of people in this game are bigots. It doesn't mean they are racists; racism is when you hate a certain race and think your's is better and etc.

A lot of people in this game like to vent out hate towards Turks, Germans, or Vietnamese or whatever. Let me remind you those are nationalities not races. And they do this because they may have had a few bad experiences with some people from that nationality. Or they don't like a certain nationaltiy because a lot of them posses certain characters like nothing being able to speak English, begging for gold and etc. And so these haters associate the whole group as being bad and every time they see player from that group they think they are going to all be like that.

Bigotry is based on generalizations. It may be true to some extent but not entirely true for all people of a certain group. And lastly, bigots will still have spite and malice even if what they believe is false.

Also you nationalist people need to remember, if you are going to represent your nationality, don't be asshats. You do not realize how much of an effect that has on the internet. It will make ignorant people hate your nationality.

As for one good thing about Turks, they are nice people. If you guys ever meet them in real life and not SRO, you will see that they can become great friends(the same goes for Vietnamese, and any other race on this planet. Its a just a game get over it). plus their name sounds like Turkey.

all i know is when i played on troy, not one turk was nice to me. not one.
the germans however were very kind (since this was my first time ever playing sro) and they told me everything from how to look around to which skills are best.

iSRO, Isro, ISRO or International Silkroad Online, are just terms used to describe the SRO version that isn't for one single country. It does not mean: ISRO the game where everyone play and get along in total harmony, or ISRO the game where everyone speaks the same language.

I clearly see you points, and agree with them. I have some comments about each of those points:

- If you dont speak English you don't belong in the game.
There are sadly some people that think English is the only language that should be used on this planet, and especially when the term "international" is in the picture. I don't have the time nor the motivation to elaborate on why these people think that, and why it's completely wrong. But I do have the time to type out that, it's just the way people are, and we just have to live with it.

- If you're Viet, Turks etc, you are automatically called CCF, botters, scammers etc.
Yes, but by who? If you think about it, the people that comes with these remarks without valid reason, aren't worth 2 seconds of our thoughts. And no, rumors and unproven facts are not valid reason. But then there are those that actually does have valid reason. Then what? Think about your own people in your own country or race, does none of them ever bot or ever CCF, or ever scam? If you say yes, then think again. and you get my point.

Some of those are true hypocrites. Some just want to try some new gameplay. Some just want to see the naked characters. Some just want to experience the niceness of korean players. Some just want to go there, record their activity and then show it off on these forums, some might do that in an attempt to share the new information with us. Some just want to have fun. Some are just bored. Some have other reason. Some have a mix of all these reasons.

random addition for possible comedic value seeing as this topic has gone blown out of proportion, and both sides of the argument should just shut up.

It's hard not to hate a certain group when all you get from them are negative actions. I know there are some nice people of a certain group, IN GAME. (I'm pretty sure most people outside the game are normal)

For example, the turks. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that I did not come to iSRO with hatred towards turks.

Yes, I know it's wrong, that's why I'm trying to watch what I'm saying. But sometimes, enough is enough. For example, about 5 hours ago, there were 2 turkish players training around Yetis. One of them found a giant, automatically, he said: NO KS. So I did not attack his giant (not that I would)

5 minutes later, I found my giant. Then the 2 turks came rushing to my direction, one zerked, the other started using frostbite and cold arrest on me. I said: "dont ks"..and all I got was: "F.UK U GOOK" and a long string of turkish words. Fortunately, I was able to control myself and decided to ks his mobs back without throwing racial slurs.

This is almost similar to my first experience with turkish players. Oh, and as far as I'm concerned, the only people who KSed me in that area are from HaMaCaT, AsilKan, and KARTALLAR (all turkish guilds)

I try to change for good, hopefully others do as well.
