i'm ambivalent about the rep system. i'll have to see how it goes.

I thought WOW was so much better and SRO was so effed up?

And I agree with you, some ppl enjoy being a jerk for the attention/persona, etc of being a jerk. You are one of those ppl. Glad we agree on something.

My guild could tell you, I am hardly all rainbows and smiles. lol ANd I dont think most ppl view you as a teller of the truth, more like a whiner of everything. You should be the first person to know that life isnt fair. Some ppl cheat and win. I hope kharma gets those ppl. I hope miniFly gets those ppl. But it doesnt ruin my game or spoil my outlook on life.

And of course there have bumps. TImes where I dont feel like leveling, failed important alchemy, feel like I might have messed up my build. THen Huy comes and shows me that +9 isnt impossible and if it isnt, maybe +5 isnt either or Juey posts a movie showing his hybrid str nuker and I think, "WOW I didnt screw my build up THAT much thank gawd." and some noob comes and says, "YAY I got level 30! I can finally nuke!" and I think yeah, I love that feeling of, FINALLY I LEVELED!

THere are good things everywhere. Even in you. I often read your posts and think, "Glad I dont have a telephone pole shoved up MY butt like that guy, no wonder he is so cranky"

Post on Chaud. I trust Sui to comb through the posts and take out the worst ones. The rest really pass without notice. One thing Sui said really made a difference. Ignore the flames and concentrate on the good topics. Its a good policy.

NB and Chaud you do realize that the whole point of this thread is to introduce the rep system to the masses, which emphasizes that flaming in a thread can get you kicked out of SRF. So why don't you stop setting a bad example? Chaud is funny and NB makes good sigs. Compliments to both, and I hope we can end it here so that we aren't all being flaming hypocrites in this thread. :banghead:

Yes Chaud, I carebear much. And it's not about changing your attitude. I seriously doubt you are this big an ahole in real life. Or maybe no one likes you much there either, who knows. But you know the majority of the forum doesnt like the way you post much. Yet you stay. You call me an attention whore, yet you slop around your crappy attitude, make ppl dislike you, spread general hate and discontent and then laugh when ppl call you on it. That is the real definition of attention whoring. You dont even play SRO, yet you stay to bash it for attention. Why cant you search your personality and give us a reason to like you instead? Ryoko is a nice guy, and he lets you stay even tho he knows you arent good for the forum. I think he just hopes you will run outta bad things to say and just go away on your own. I dont think you will till that rep system comes out and forces you to, cause you love that negative attention from ppl.

On the forum and in real life ppl fall into two catagories. Part of the problem or part of the solution. You are just one of those problem ppl.

And really, this isnt about flaming. Im sure you are gonna have all kinds of bad things to say. I dont mind. I got teflon forum feelings. If it is carebear to be nice to ppl, then I dont mind being called carebear. It's all about loyalty. I am loyal to this forum and the great community that has gotten me over more than one bump in the SRO road.

You ppl think these guys can destroy the community of SRF? If you do, then maybe you are part of the problem also.

I havn't banned you because occasionally you do post something constructive that I can respect.

You do have like 2-3 supporters here.

But more people dislike you than you believe.

You, psyco008, saginawapaw, criterion, godlikez and several others have driven out a long list of members. Eventually, its going to have to end.

At least 50% of the server bots.

How long people gonna stick around on false hopes thinking "things will get better" or maybe "they'll get banned eventually". How many times are people gonna check the banlist and just be filled with disapointment.

Maybe the bots dun bother people. I think I spent the last 6 months worrying about whether or not some fktard bots. And every time some fktard botter, or some fktard ebayer smacks me down in a job suit, I get pissed.

Real pissed. More pissed than I can handle.

Then, that fktard, or friends of the said fktard, come to the forum, and swear up and down how they don't bot.

Not only is it a noun, its an adjective too.

Age of empires went down with the trainer and macro
D2 went down with the trainer and hacking
SRO went down with the bots

I think the reputation will ruin this forum. Some people will find ways to use this to their advantage. (like making new accounts to rate themself/friends) Or people who have a good reputation are 'bored' after a while and do things that arent good anymore.
I do see the positive sides too, like who has more 'trustworthy' story, or who makes better remarks and helps around.
But in my opinion there are more negative points then positive points to adding this to a forum at all.

You and I play for different reasons Ryoko... I can sit in Vent and talk to Fly and TE all day and not even log in and be happy. Im not that big into PVP so I dont feel that same sense of getting pwned I guess. On top of that, mini evens the score for me. When someone like DuckEgg kills me I smile and think of all the gear mini has gotten off the Ducks or members of their Union. It's all good.

Fly, TE, the Union site. They are the goals I have that have nothing to do with PVP or PVE. The cheaters cant touch these things.

I understand you leaving and dont begrudge you Ryoko... But I prefer my Pollyana outlook on this game.

Then why do you even need a game....reminds me of that str hybrid who said they don't play sro for pvp, I asked what they played for...no answer really. Or at least I don't remember one.

The day I realized that bots were ruining it was the day I hit my table after getting killed over and over trying to rob the botters. The whole damm server showed up to help them. Then I realized it wasn't really worth it. Although I didn't stop then...a few weeks later.

Lastly, you pulled the noob method of asking for a sig, without much description or detail, except for PORN of paris.

On that note, you probobly wouldn't be able to -rep very much, because you won't have too much of your own rep to spend.

I'd like to think that Rokahawiq0 and co agree in some small way deep down. And that they act the way they do because they care what a few people think of them. There is no longer anything new to add, the game is no longer young. The only thing that affects gameplay are the bots / ccf / bad service, and seeing as that is all that is left, that will be what most topics are about. I blame JM for these posts, them and bot369.

But then I woke up.

ANd Chaby, I wouldnt make you a sig based on the way you asked for it... EVER. I have been long at odds with Soju and I made Kraise a sig because he asked for one like a human. If you think you can take down my rep, go ahead. Somehow I doubt you'll be here long enough to try.
