I think??

That the word noob comes from Mortal Kombat 2....the Hidden character
in that game was called Noob Saibot, and he would always kick your
a** because he used cheap and noobish moves...and when he became
a playable character, you could always win using him due to his moves.
after a while the name transfered to other games and as such players who
used cheap and crappy moves to win a game, were refered to noobs.
like in CS when someone always camps...a noob.

Any way its gotten to the point where theres now 2 words for it
noob meaning the above and newb meaning someone who is new and
inexperienced to something.

:D
,

noob moves that can always own u...sweet, thats not noob then right?

everytime you own someone in pvp using unorthodox methods(unorthodox for the one who got owned) u are called a noob... thats just stupid, why would I want to call a dude who owned me a noob, wheres the logic in that, i'd call him a geek, works better IMO... you call a person who pwned you a noob ---> you are below noob... but if u call him a geek/gook, thats another story :P

Yeah! If I shout on someone who owned me I always say something like: "I'm sorry, but I don't train all night long." :)
