The game automatically knowing you're online, is like me expecting Wal-Mart to clock me in automatically just because the cameras can see me in the building. It doesn't work that way.

there are plenty of games that do actually. why do people keep making this game seem like work? its a game.
its understandible in this game because of the massively afk players, forcing them to click the button brings them to the keyboard once in a while. but like i said, there are plenty of games with attendace based incentive that automatically acknowledge you playing.
