Right i think in these few posts you have made in this topic everyone has seen just how much of an accomplished human being you must be seriously "bro" your Farking inspirational[/quote]

I don't aim to come off as an accomplished human being. In fact, this is the internet where your view of me means very little to nothing at all.

Sorry to burst your bubble bro.

i like what you did there. this should've ended it with .curve but i see children (meaning adults as well) are never satisfied.

5. these forums are quite interesting. if it was accepted as a source, one could write a psych or sociology theses on the average adult's bent in the direction of childishness as a means of justifying their own superiority and existence.

6. the end.

1) If you post a "WTB" global, you're initiating the transaction and it is incumbent on you to come up with a price you're willing to pay. By the same token, if someone globals "WTS", they need to have a price they're willing to accept.

You wanted him to name his price because you didn't want to name a price that was too high. You wanted him to carry the risk of selling under-market, not you buying over-market. He didn't want to play that game and told you so right away. He did you a favor by trying to end the conversation right there. You should have listened.

2) When you make a post ridiculing someone and forum members point out that maybe you are at least partly to blame, don't get all pissy and accuse an entire forum of being idiots. You ought to consider that they have a point. In this case, you're actually wrong. Swallow the ego and say, "maybe there was another way to do this that I should have considered."

Apparently it doesn't have to be this way which in many cases either party can state the price so what you're trying to portray here is pretty pointless. I truly did not know the price. I had a price range. that is it.

non ego man wrote:

Again...pointless...sometimes sellers state their price and sometime it's the buyers. In our argument I was merely showing what I normally do..which doesn't have to always be the case...but I don't believe because you don't know the price it makes you an idiot.

non ego man wrote:

Show me where the problem is in me wanting it that way...or anyone else in my position.. I see a benefit here for me in wanting it this way so I don't see your point.

non ego man wrote:

I don't see how you believe he didn't want to risk selling under-market when it seems from his arrogance he already knew what the prices should be.... And if he knew the price tag but was hoping for me to buy over-the-market value then isn't it a good thing I didn't stated the price I would pay?

non ego man wrote:

You will make person # 3 that I will label and idiot...you god dam idiot.....so I don't know where you got this "accuse entire forum of being idiots" crap from. Please read before you post. I've already stated that I shouldn't have continue my argument with the dude and it was partially my fault but in the end was a funny experience for me.

non ego man wrote:

There was no right or wrong here...just something funny/arrogant and stupid....I was merely curious as to why he believe that anyone who doesn't know the price of what they want to buy is an idiot...thus is the only reason why I prolong the discussion with him.

You analyzed deep into what was being discussed only to come up with pointless garbage that was nicely worded to make you appear highly intellectual. Nice

You went and broke down his few sentences into this wall of stupidity. I could go on and rant about how you're a moron, why of all things you expect people who are stupid may find pine cones in their asshole, or even wonder why you use words like nitwit and numskull expecting for the receiver of the "insult" to be upset and hurt. However, a moron once tried to finalize his useless post of nonsense by saying

and I feel it works perfectly here in response to you.

I'll try one more time because I'm a sucker for this shit.

You posted a conversation that you thought was evidence of someone being a moron. It turned out that most everyone on this forum agreed with the "moron" and not you. Now your getting pissy and calling names. You're acting foolish and the more defensive you get, the sillier you sound.

Bottom line: if you global "wtb" or "wts" and can't state the price you want to buy or sell at, most people aren't going to give you the time of day. If you try and pursue a conversation with them after they've said "bye" twice, then you should expect to be called an idiot.

You can keep banging your head against that wall but it won't change shit.

I'm gonna say this once more as well.....which is the entire reason behind the creation of this thread and why I called the guy a moron.....

Someone isn't an idiot for not knowing the price for an item in the game.....especially when those prices can vary greatly amongst sellers...

This is where he and I disagree and why I think he is the moron. If I had told him what I think the price is and it was too low (according to his beliefs) he most likely wouldav still call me an idiot for not knowing the "right price"...

The guy was clearly arrogant and in a bitchy mood. If he really wanted to sell what he had it shouldn't matter if I know the price or not. We couldav bargained back and forth which is what I was hoping for. Hope that clears things up for you now.

Its better to ignore .curve...he/she/it thinks that this game is complete garbage and a waste of time and can't believe that we still play it yet he/she/it still hangs around here...I wouldn't bother returning to this forum if I think it's members here were a bunch of brain dead individuals who can't see that this game is garbage. I actually feel sorry for curve...nothing else better to do with its time.

Actually Off Topic Lounge is amazing. Every once in a while I'll stop by the sewer that is GD and check out the 18 topics of people complaining. It's fascinating.

hahahahaha. you people are too funny. you seriously all remind me of myself when i choose to be blind and have convinced myself that my point is absolutely correct, thus bringing no end to the discussion until someone gets tired and rendering it pointless except to prove how wrong, blind, and ignorant the other party is.
btw. that was in reference to the topic in general, not to .curve's quoted statement. that really was rich.
