Use computer to fight a computer = no one win. There's always a solution for one to fight back. In bottom line, human >> computer

You can play the game at any level, but you cannot enjoy the game at any level. i agree with both majin and prom like in ctf there SHOULD be level limits to job and FW too like only upto lvl 30 can a guild actually take over bandit fortress(if members are over 30 they must be forfieted from fort and FW), i know every1 wants the forts but if ppl had a lvl range to work in for small forts(and jobs) it would give low lvl players a taste of end game content without having to spend 1-3 year grinding to get thre i know we only have 2 forts but its something to think about for when we get more...

WOW I GOT TO LEVEL 100! like the rest of the botters. -.- if you dont want to play the game. dont play it. dont bot and say u hav a life either because if you did. you wouldnt think about your bot on sro would you. my friends are botters they dont shut up about sro. constantly telling me that botting is the best thing ever. oh well. i have a girlfriend. and im getting laid. and im legit. **** BOTS!

IF everyone stopped botting (yea i know, utopia...-.-) there would be plenty of parties in each lvl range, which would mean way faster lvling than by bot. and ofc more server slots (noone would do 24/7 plvl at Ongs just to get a new char with 39156013961306 SP) actually lvl 100 would be fun to reach, not as it is atm...
@penfold: fully agree
and what i dont understand too..... You all say (99% of you guys) cap 60 / 70 was GREAT and FUN...well...there hadn't been so many botters and -if i remember it right- i could've added at least 5 people a day to friendlist, if there was enough space in it.
well i recently logged in again...only thing i saw: GOLDBOTS.... (the one CTF i joined was like it should be, no MC users)

Use computer to fight a computer = no one win. joymax is doing nothing, i know how that bot "Ban" system works, those who are getting banned are just idiots, who doesnt know how to use the fkn bots. bot= idiot, or someone who got a real excuse, and no i dont support them.

There are private servers out there. Easy to be capped if your target is being capped.

I can enjoy SRO at low levels and high levels. I might just play the game differently at different level ranges (e.g., I'm likely not going to try and be a thief at lvl 20-30, but I might do a trade).

yes the 70cap was fun because my friend (level 4x then) was deemed as pretty tough... his build was irrelivent. it was his level... no one had heard of many people above 40 that was a continuing player and trader/hunter/thief.
ofc there were a load of 40+'s but not many wanted to know you.
if i could have my way right now. EVERY ONE WHO USED A BOT would be character banned. totally. then if your caught using a bot program again its a MAC address wide ban.
its not that banning doesnt work. its just not strict enough.. player bots get away with murder! any1 know any player bots 7day banned? joymax need more effort and less posting what theyre GOING to do on the site.
ps. im getting rid of 0.3mb sky shit broadband and moving on up to cable virgin in 2weeks time! thats a lag free interwebs!!!!
woooooop

I believe botting destroy the value, the pride of being capped. You will not feel your char precious than leveling it by itself. Before (when no one bot): OMG, you are so awesome, you are capped, you are the strongest! Oh no, I'm so sorry your account was hacked, I feel pity for you After (when 90% are bots): Meh, lvl 100? Nothing special, there are already 1000+ lvl around 90-100 out there. Pff, hacked? Restart (bot) a new char, you'd be high fast again.

Ofc it's fine to find a tool to help you to skip the boring part, but when it affects negatively the environment and the players around is not OK at all.

it's not because smt is a built-in of a game that means it's a good thing. It's just that it doesn't break the rule, but it's still a bad thing

Sorry, but I didn't state it anywhere in my post unless you can read my mind. If I don't enjoy a game, I simply wont play it, and I was stating something that is almost true, yet depends on which server your playing and other variables.

"almost true" means that it's still "false" Quote: the game masters/ dev teams have efficiently set a perimeter of controled burn around the forrest of their game, to prevent potential fires from getting out of control. Everyone controls fire. If I want I just have to go secretly in a forest a set fire (by this refer to the abuse of some part of the game), no matter how good your protection is. It's just a matter if I afraid to go to jail or not. GM/dev teams are humans, and humans aren't perfect => not all is able to control everything.

I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I don't find SRO boring at all, unless I'm playing it for too long. Then I get bored and go do something else. I personally don't care what level I am. It's nice to level up simply to have something different (leveling down can achieve the same thing I guess). Level up, get new weapon, new transport, new gear... However, it doesn't bother me in the slightest that I've been playing SRO off and on for almost 3 years and my blader on Venice is only lvl 54. I just log in to play the game the way it should be played. When I get tired of it for that session, I stop. I don't feel obligated to grind grind grind, level up, level up, level up. I don't see it as work. I like to just run out and kill mobs, do quests, etc. If I get some exp for it, great! If not, that's ok too. I used to play DOOM/Quake type FPS games a lot as a kid. I didn't care so much about trying to find the biggest weapon and get the most frags. I cared more about exploring the game and learning new things about the environment... while hopefully killing at least some people in the process

jade dynasty's bot sucks. its lame. it takes the game out of it... the game is more like... "check once every 8 hours for 10minutes" its boring. theres nothing to do, the quest system is "click the npc and AUTO walk there.." theres nothing special
Silkroad should be a game about GRINDING or PARTYING TO LEVEL!
the only reason we bitch here is because no1 here has ever experienced party play. because even in a party its like .. OH THAT FKING LVL 100 WIZZARD IS TRYIN TO PLVL IN OUR SPOT! or... WERE GNA HAV 2 MOVE GIUZ THERES A BOTTER HERE KSING US
sro should be played as it should... not as a program runs for it should.
