Well I rather playing RoM than playing WoW. So far I spent only like 10 dollars for the horse and in game ppl actually helping newbies alot. Yes they do got bot and gold sellers but you wont really need to buy golds or bot to play coz lvl up in game so easy.

Now people are using the argument that because silkroad is free it's better. Have you forgotten that if you want to play silkroad to the fullest you must pay at least 20 USD to log in on the first try then you have to buy a clock, pet, silk ticket. It's like 30+ already, then prem + is like 40+, factor in end-game alchemy. What is WoW? Buy the game & expansions then pay 15 USD/Month. Over time you will spend far less for WoW.

Are graphics honestly the only thing you guys can get on WoW?
Yes, lol. Haven't you noticed it yet? All they ever bring up are graphics.

I don't like wow for some reason. But, obviously it is superior to any game out there in PvE contents.
You said sro is all about pvp? Well, idk what I can call about 6 months or so of farming 2m sp and lvling 90s to have some decent game play. Isn't it Pve or grinding or are they kind of the same?
Anyway, sro pvp sytem is pretty farked up atm. Only 2 or 3 builds are useful and the others are useless and some of them are for safe zone buffings. PVP exists at dw south gate when you wear a cap. Some kids might decide to ruin your serious PVPs sometimes tho. The job system is good in theory but with little profit, no benefits for lvling the job lvl. Sro is more like 90% grinding and 10% pvp nowsadays unless you call south gate dw pvp is something special where you pvp with same people 12323 times a day every day.

Correct me if I am wrong but pvp in SRO is capes or trading and as far as I remember in both it was whoever had the best uncaped/unsuited buffers won. Yeah your right that is so much better.

Ok...Where to begin?
In October 2006 I started a nice new MMO called Silkroad Online. I was hooked from the start, it looked wonderful, it played rather well for a korean based MMO and at that time had very few bots or at least a managable number. As time went on I leveled slowly towards my friends capped 70 characters and made it to 5X before 80 cap was released. With 80 cap came Taklamakan and some months after the euro race, which was amazing. Then people started to discover the Ong's in the area south of Samarkand and the game changed forever.
Foward a little bit to 90 cap and hardly anyone leveled themselves anymore, those that did like myself struggled to gain every level while watching friends and union members have new chars rip past them at blazing speed. I managed to fight and claw my way to 88 before 100 cap was released, was very excited about the new cave until I was in it. The place is huge and without reverse return scrolls it takes 20 minutes to get to B4 to level your character. I made it to level 95(5$/month just for grab pet) on my archer before I said **** THIS and left in May to start a new game that a bunch of my guildmates had left to play called World of Warcraft.
I started WoW in May of 2009 and guess what, I had more fun leveling and playing in Battlegrounds than I did almost capped and jobbing in Silkroad and I was amazed. "This is what a game is like when the developers care about their product." From now on I log into SRO now and again to say HI to the few people that never made the jump theres very few of them left. I was also one of the "WOW looks like shit" people but I got over that in about a week. I leveled my FIRST WoW character to 80 in 3 months 1-80 IN 3 MONTHS!!!!!! Without bots without the CONSTANT stream of crap on all chat without small turkish children telling me to fack syster and 98% of the people I've met ingame speak fluent english.
Sorry for this long post but FFS people when are you going to realise that the game you all love is being killed by it's own developers...they're sucking every last penny out of you before they one day pull the plug and laugh all the way to the bank.
Spoiler!
I looked through a ton of old SRO screenshots to see if I could find one with 1000 goldbots, didn't have one so I tried to log in and get one and we all know how that ends if you're not a silkbuyer.
And @ Asusi that must be the pic of the woman that started SRO got to level 9 and said "Screw this...I'm going outside." Please show me a picture of someone that HANDGRINDED to cap in SRO and I guarantee they look like a wreck as well. It takes 2-3 years to cap 100 FF in iSRO or 3 months in WoW. As far as the fat man in the other pic goes...that guy is a mess. He NEEDS to quit playing WoW and go outside with that girl and run some laps at the track.

Some people prefer WoW.
Some people prefer SRO.
For some reason i prefer SRO. I couldnt seem to get stuck into WoW, and would find myself continuously alt tabbing to MSN out of boredom. Not because of the graphics. Just cause it wasnt the right game for me.

If you played WoW since vanilla you would have noticed BC and WoTLK ruined the game, now that there's another expansion it's gonna ruin the game more. Also the new stats and stuff there adding is gonna destory the game.

Silkroad has better graphics yeah, but the pvp system is way more realistic in WoW, and all the details, the customer support, the community is so much better and in WoW there's so much more to do, and what retard just keeps standing still in PvP and let the mget smacked to death?
I beg to differ. In WoW you can run in circles with a sword and shield in full armor around some guy. You call that realistic? In real life you stand and fight and maybe move a few feet forwards or backwards until you kill someone or they kill you. What retard stands and lets them self get smacked to death? The guy with the 800 hp pots that's who. WoW and sro are 2 completely different fighting styles. I just had to point that out.
- - - - - - After playing sro then trying the 10 day trial of WoW, I can't believe how people can play such a horrendous game. I quit after getting to lvl 4. At lvl 3 I pvped with another lv 3. I stood there and let my pet kill him... ...and he didn't even damage me or my pet before my pet got him.

I PvPed at level 3 in SRO, I killed him with my bow before he even got to me. I can't believe people play this game, it took me 2 hours to log on and it was like 3D Runescape.

Okay so I quitted playing WoW about 3 months ago cause WOTLK is a crappy expansion, and started playing silkroad again. Now there's going to be a new, VERY EPIC expansion pack which seems TOTALLY uber!!

And Barotix, how the hell did you PvP at level 3, when you *CLEARLY* have to be level 10 to equip a cape?
Man, you know what I meant. When people give bad arguments I just flip them, lvl 3, lvl 10. Doesn't matter. PvP@ lvl 3 would suck & PvP@ lvl 10 sucked.

I played the last week of OBT in Aion and I think its a great compromise between the two games. If you like the kind of gameplay WoW has and if you like the style of graphics in silk this is the game!

Do the skills look similar to sro? That's also one of the things why I like sro. The skills are flashy but not too flashy.

That's well and good for you buddy. However, those of us who still play SRO (maybe not iSRO), still enjoy the game; and you coming here all high and mighty over us *LOWLY* SRO players is the mark of an asshole. Man up, show some friggin' damn respect, and go back to playing your WoW game that the rest of us are clearly not interested in.

@ Barotix.....I love you.
As far as SRO goes...it's still a game that is capable of being badass. We will never see it though because it's being run by a Chimpanzee in a suit.
