Wrong. Deco and DE are only hosted by Joymax, not really "ran" by them.

Also, Jung would not sell Joymax. The only thing that would happen to Isro is that they would sell their publishing license to another company.

Example:

Jsro = Published by GameOn Co., Ltd. Developed by Joymax Co., Ltd.

Csro = Published by CIMO Co., Ltd. Developed by Joymax Co., Ltd.

Tsro = Published by UNALIS Co., Ltd. Developed by Joymax Co., Ltd.

Vsro = Published by VDC Co., Ltd. Developed by Joymax Co., Ltd.

Isro/Ksro = Published by JOYMAX Co., Ltd. Developed by Joymax Co., Ltd.

If Blizzard took over Joymax (Silkroad), I would gladly play even if they made it P2P $50/month. Still beats Joymax by a loooong looooooong shot.

Touche sir. I was only talking about iSRO, since that's what we all play. As for Deco and DE, who runs them then?

Touche? Not even close. You are reading too deep into the text.

Deco, from what I understand is still ran by Rocksoft but hosted by Joymax. Hence why Deco has GMs, yet Isro doesn't.

Same goes for Dark Eden, as they are ran by SOFTON and hosted by Joymax.

Joymax only hosts their international servers, not their Asian counterparts.

Well jagex is the ppl that made runescape.. so neah

my view on Bliz- Well, they possibly make us pay 15$ a month but they will actually have servers and more events up for the game. and possible paid char transfer and get rid of 90% of the bots if not more. they would be a good deal and all and make it better...

The ppl that made CoH and CoV

I played those games for awhile and I loved there customer support, it could have a few edits that could get better but other then that it was pretty fun.

even if Joymax wanted to sell, no company in their right mind would buy this broken game...unless they wanted to publish a b2p (bot to play) game

I disagree. This game has a lot of potential and in the right hands it could be a bigger cash cow then what it is now.

blizzard, for one they'd fix ctf a up a bit probably add an arena, maybe a wager system for pvp, and they'd have the advertising power to bring a mass amount of new players that that other companies just don't have the reputation to do. Even non gamers know who blizzard is, even people who don't own a computer know who blizzard is. So even if they loose all the botters after a bit of clean up, they'd be able to fix it up and get new players.

Hoping for game modes like WoW has like domination and ctf

I would have to go with blizzard also, as soon as this company gets there hands on a game they make it better instantly. They have even made WoW easyer to lvl and put in alot more quests, so i would say if blizzard took over from joymax they would probably do the same with sro. Also i guess this been put in place would stop botting to an exstent and make a much better community, i would defo come back for 100 cap 8).

I think for any game that has decent content, there will always be at least 1 botter on 1 server.

Even in World Of Warcraft

Ok,since i have had some nice answeres , and most of you stayed on topic :love: i would like to ask you ;

1.If joymax sold it to blizzard, you think they would change it to p2p?
*If yes, how much would they charge?
*Would they come up with their own Anti-Cheat programm?

2.If joymax sold it to NCsoft, you think they would change it to p2p?
*If yes, how much would they charge?
*Would they come up with their own Anti-Cheat programm?

3.If Silkroad would change to p2p, how much do YOU THINK the game is worth paying for every month?

With all respect to Joymax, you suck. I vote for NCsoft seeing as I loved gw's and I think they can make changes, but maybe thats just my imagination playing tricks on me.

If they sold it to Jagex, there would be no bots from day 1. The costumer support would be awesome. The game would get new quests, areas, skills every month. The game would be less corrupt with item mall stuff.

To prove you how much Jagex are a good company, read this:

http://news.runescape.com/newsitem.ws?id=1648

Have fun laughing at Jagex because they hold Runescape. It doesn't mean anything in reality. The game sucks, I'll give you that, but the company is just excellent.

Never played games from any of those companies(except guild wars, but stopped very quick).
They should sell it to Valve!
