So... is gameguard still disabled? When I start SRO the splash screen shows up, but it doesnt do the usual load / connect thing in the corner, and I've seen no official word that it was ever disabled. :?

I think it was just a little patch to fix a few problems with the image verification.

One thing I noticed is that I don't get error messages all the time now. Before, when running silkroad and opening up another program like my internet browser or winamp, when I closed them I got a message claiming there are not enough memory or something...

Also happend when I started up silkroad and came to the acount login screen. Some weird language pack? error not enough memory message... And also when closing down silkroad.

GameGuard is evil to my computer :banghead:

Maybe they are planning to get rid of gameguard all together.

Maybe they have it disabled, in order to do a comparison.

1. iSRO with GameGaurd, and no image verify
2. iSRO no GameGaurd, but with image verify

after playing quake 3 or quake 4 or any game that uses in_mouse 1 (dont know if that is the correct command) silkroad would not even start cause it detected some weird mouse errors!!! had to restart my comp each time.
But i wonder if gameguard actually helped besides your personal protection (something a firewall should do)
