This has been happening for the last few weeks. I keep getting lags where I can't move/cast skills and my pet returns to me instead of picking up drops, but I can still see the mobs moving around, hitting me, and people chatting in union. After a while my pet won't pick up any of my previous drops unless I stand in the same spot for a long time. In between, everything is fine.

I don't think this is caused by my internet because my download and upload speeds are fine, and I have no problems on my browser when I'm getting the lags. But I haven't seen anyone post about this so I have no idea what's going on.

the fact that you download and upload fine isn't related to ROUTING from you to sro servers. i suggest googling on how pings work and you'll understand better what is causing this.

what you describe in game is indeed lag spikes, it will either go away (since you obviously dont have it ALL THE TIME, else you wouldnt post this). or you could try changing your IP range to see if different routing works better.

Also if you have a friend that plays sro and lives around your area with same ISP you can compare with him, chances are hes getting the same spikes.

if you really wanna solve this you can contact your ISP and send them tracert log of the SRO server and they can maybe reroute you to a different host, but I'm not sure how this works in different countries or ISPs.

For Record : If someone uses a bot to play , he won't even notice that he gets lag , as he won't be watching the sro screen anyway .

I only lag from time to time, some worse than others..
Enough to get trouble if I am on mobs a few lvls higher than myself.. D:

Lol, ty. It always cracks me up when I'm accused of being a botter. I've played for 5 years and my highest char was 88... I don't have trouble with mobs right now, but only because I am training on all mag mobs. I can definitely see it being a problem when I switch.

Weird, it seems that only the Hotan map makes me laggy (including Taklamakan where I was training previously). I decided to go to Roc to train, and it went from being super laggy while riding through Karakoram, to no lag at all in Roc.

Well perhaps it could be connected to the large amount of people in Hotan. The map parts inbetween dock teleports are connected with eachother (since you get Pain Quota dmg from your party as long as you stay within the same map part, this means you can get PQ dmg in Hotan while your party is at Generals).
Even though you are not in Hotan itself, it may already load everything there.

They are back on full force, must have to do with the bot trains we see everywhere. Starting to think(not really, been sure all along) that the bots are paid and seeded by retardmax themselves, they rape your wallets for useless pixels, and they sell you gold so you can get your wallets raped again, not too bad...

I really don't think that joymax has a secret deal with Gold bot companies for several reasons :

1)- Some of my friends buy gold and the gold bot companies they buy from didn't make any agreement with joymax .

2)- Joymax can always sell gold for much cheaper than those companies (Really , it is only a few clicks to get a trillion gold) .

3)- Joymax can sell items also for real money , sun +15 items (they already do that though "Magic Pop") .

If joymax wanted to make an agreement with goldbots companies , they could have easily gave them trillions of gold but it seems non of the goldbots companies have that much gold .

Fact is, they do absolutely nothing useful to stop the bots, the statues are a joke, killing more careless legits than bots, wich are already looking for them. They may not be paying for the bots, but they really do nothing to help the legit community, guess the bots pay for prem plus(2 months worth of wow...), and that is something I will never do, not in this state of the game, where is impossible to lvl because there are gold bots on EVERY map, and Im talking about Xian.

Lags at the most inopportune times. Before inspection on Monday it was CRAP. I couldn't even weapon switch to cast a bless or recovery division. After inspection it's a little better.

Today again, 00:00 euro time, karakoram is unusable unless you bot(they do just fine), every 10-15 secs there is a 5-10 sec pause, hard to bear with my 52 full int nuker...
Leave it filling a server spot and going to sleep, gotta love gaymax...
