I'd go with the first or second one in terms of the amount of "fun" you can have with them.

The best build to own though would be ice/fire/pach.

10D bow: 1674~2052

What do these stats say? Bow can be compared with sword. Is that so...NO! If you decide to use a sword you can also use a shield which gives you tons of phy and mag defense plus allowes you to block. Spear gives you hp, what survivability does bow give? Nutin'.

There is a huge gap between the maximum and the minimum damage, so yeah even with that -28 mag. power sword is better.

Pacheon has Knock-back and Stun.
Heuksal has Dull, Stun, Knock-back.
Bicheon has Stun, Fear, Dull and knock-down.

Heuksal also offers you magical defense power increase. Bicheon gives you physical defense power increase and block ratio increase. What does pacheon give? Nutin'.

pacheon gives you the advangte of keeping an enemy away until your HP is recharged.

it does't suck, but alot of people don't know how to play it.

i had a level 90 pure int bowman, and i pretty much owned everyone using a +5/6 set and a +7 bow.

people like you make these kind of comments necessary.

it's not the weakest. the damage may be the lowest, but you get other advantages instead. like the ability to keep enemies off until your HP is recharged. this makes pure int bowers very hard to kill.

Bow gives range, which is an advantage as you get the first hit(s). And knock back emphasizes that advantage.

KB spam + wall. Good luck killing an int bowmen that resorts to that strategy. Snow, than attack and nuke, snow gone, kb spam and wall until you die or they get snow again. Pure int bowmen are weak until 94. Than they're as good as any other build out there.

It could be a fun build to play at cap in a fort war situation because you could kill lower levels with one hit and you might do very well against your own levels if your team buff you up euro style. I'd love to have a pure int bow at cap but I wouldn't want to make it myself for fear of it sucking hard. Because from experience I know that pure int bow sucks at lower levels.

So pure int bowers are built on KB. Could be, I'm not a bow expert. Sorry for hurting your feelingz.

Well first of all every other nukers have wall. This strategy breaks as soon as the bower is stunned knock downed etc. Snow shield is cool but not just bower can have it. And as far as I know KB has a probability aswell.

You're missing the point Buddhist, no other build is able to defend their walls or be as protected during the lack of snow shield. There is a probability for kb, but it's for each shot. Since you can spam both 5-arrow and 6-arrow kb back to back, it's pretty much unlimted. Once you cast a wall, spamming kb will just keep pushing your opponent back. It's dam near hard to get close. The only person that has a chance really is warrior who can dash/attack in one move.

Could be, as I said I do not have a bower. Well in my opinion s/s is the best nuker, said enough facts I guess. And I can't really imagine how can a pure int bower rape a s/s nuker or even spear nuker. Both of those chars have enough CC and enough survivability. I might be wrong, but you know when I wrote down the pros and cons it came out bower has the least advantages (check above). I thought it makes sense. :p

i would honestly go hybrid for bowman.. stats on a bow just scream for hybrid

Wind on aege used to be hybrid.. every unique was his.. he wasn't the best pvper though

Buddhist is not wrong when comparing the builds, but the points made only compared them in a pvp setting (mostly 1 on 1). Maybe it's second nature to some, but to me, most of the time I spent playing silkroad is grinding (pve), and pure int pacheon is one of the most fun builds you could play with. But then fun is a subjective term.

With the high damage of imbue + snow + ice wall/firewall that could be a relly good build 94+ (with very good gear and wep 7+ obv).

In any medieval army the bow acts as a support weapon. Archers stay behind the main forces and let it rain. A pure int bow would be good for that purpose in guild wars and Fort wars. Provide high damage from range and in support of your guild/clan-mates. This is the main appeal behind pure int bows as well as PVE. Anyone making this build shouldn't have PVP as their main focus.

In term of fun => light+ice+pacheon
ghost walk, KB, hit hit hit, ghost walk KB, hit hit hit
not only you don't die, but you can annoy ppl till they die or run out of HP pots. If they don't have ice immune => spam ice imbue + KB

Here is a break down from my experience with full int bow in pvp:

Extremely Effective:
Full Str/Int Euro, FS Glavier, FS/Int Bower

Effective:
Hybrid Glavier/Bower

Not so effective:
Full/Hybrid Int S/S

Ineffective:
Bladers

Of course this doesn't include all the wonderful status effects each build has but this is an extremely simple break down.

I would say all int builds sucks.
They got very good attack, but the defence sucks. My 85 wizz dies at lower lvl mobs then he is,
when you see a pure str char die at lower lvl's it must be an elite or he sucks hard.

Just make a pure str Warrior/Cleric:)

If a spear/nuker falls into that trap then he doesnt know how to play his char...heuksal have ranged atacks (powerfull ones) and with nukes theres no need to get in range for emperor/cloud.

int bow = fun (for some people)
no build sucks.

i had an int bow, pve is great, pvp is great as well 'cept warriors. Go light/pach/cold. fire doesnt have the buffs and you wont use nukes anyways.

They have the spear throwing move. That's their ONLY range attack. Bich cuts are pretty weak. Nukes are nearly unusable against a bower that resorts to spammign kb. Why? Because I've tried. I've pvped bower turks. All they did was spam kb. I could get off maybe 1/5 nukes. I don't think you realize that the moment you get kb, your move is cancelled unless it's already casted. Only way to counter really is to block or dash. That's why I prefer bich fire ice and heuk light ice. Either you hope for a block, or you dash close enough to attack. KB really needs to be linked so we don't get that spam.

It's a new strategy turks are adopting. Have a wizzard fully fenced and screened. 2 bowers kb spam the strongest person there and let the wizzard finish everyone off. I've been kb'd into the city so many times it's retarded. I hardly pvp bowers anymore since a pvp is basiclly 2 mins kb spamming until snow runs out, than strong bow and explosion with more kb.
