Okay so I quitted playing WoW about 3 months ago cause WOTLK is a crappy expansion, and started playing silkroad again. Now there's going to be a new, VERY EPIC expansion pack which seems TOTALLY uber!!

Silkroad has better graphics yeah, but the pvp system is way more realistic in WoW, and all the details, the customer support, the community is so much better and in WoW there's so much more to do, and what retard just keeps standing still in PvP and let the mget smacked to death?

And Doppganger come on.. is this whole community just trying to flame eachother or something?

But okay, just close this thread, cba to get more haters and flamers.

WoW Customer Support is amazing. I was hacked during the Adobe Flash fiasco, didn't understand it, but there was some exploit, had to update to new version and at the time was working with Flash on a website. Aside from that, contacted Blizzard via their GM Contact in game module. Talked to GM, had it expedited to someone who could deal with the problem, and had all my items returned within a few days. Even stuff the mofo had taken from the Guild Bank.
But the community is better? I disagree. Guilds on WoW form and fall everyday. There are only a few guilds where I first started in WoW that still existed when I left after only a few months. The community sucks ass. It's all about loot, gear and Arena immaturity. Players leave and join guilds just for loot or Arena rankings. Put it this way, NOT ONE GUILD I KNEW SINCE I QUIT EXIST TODAY. That's pretty Farking lame ass community if you ask me. All of them left because players whined about loot.
Despite Silkroad's lack of customer service, well from the beginning I started on Aege during closed beta, BrosInArms, Eternity, DeJaVu, Kaminari and others remained after I left. And many of the original founders of the guilds still existed. Players were more loyal and more helpful in Silkroad, they stopped doing what they did to help you out. They helped you because it's fun to help your guildmate, not because they would get gold in tips, materials in tips or free loot when downing a Boss.
Can't count how many times in WoW, guildmates would say, no thanks to raid invite, because the boss didn't drop any loot they wanted, even if it would help guild progress. WoW community blows.
Just look at official WoW forums, it's just full of shit. That's all it is, shit.

Prem ? <3
If you're buying prem, you're most likely buying shit from the cash shop; which means you're most likely spending 20$+ on a game ruled by bots, no customer support, inactive gms, and "good graphics".

Well i'm sorry to say but I have experienced differently, I play(or played) on the server vashj there and the guild I was in still exist after all these months, but the guilds I joined are high lvl last content raiding guilds, but the people weren't all about the loots, and about raids:
1: they can take well over 4 hours to clear in 1 night, and new raids like ulduar take a few days t oclear, presuming we raid 4 hours a day. Its not like everybody likes to join a raid that takes 4 hours each time.
2: Silkroad doesn't even has real raids so until then, dont compare the silkroad community only with loot whores. And if you think Medusa is some sort of raid, think again, because in WoW the loot system is completely different anyways, so very different that you can't even compare it AT ALL with silkroad.
The community further of slkroad is full with Turks (nothing against them, but overall experience is that they scam, cant speak proper english, and that they are just arrogant ) , scammers and botters :O
But in the end, you cant compare wow to silkroad because they are so totally different at so many things:
1. Loots (for silkroad there only exists 3 sorts of armor (heavy -and light armor and robe's (for euro) and armor, protector garment (for Chinese)), and you cna trade all the gear from silkroad whenever you want to, but In WoW it gets soulbound so that is a big deal aswell.
2. Arena: Wow doesnt even have such a thing as arena, and in WoW guilds you join guilds that do most of your interest, raids (PvE) or PvP, whilst in silkroad there is only a very small bit of PvE (which is actually only unique hunting), and the rest is PvP
Etc etc etc... I could go on for a while like this, but these are just things that come to my mind and I believe these things to be true. No offence to you silkroad lovers or Wow haters, This is just my opinion.

ok.... if we wanted to play WoW we would. however like £8 a month is too much to pay for that game. the game is OLD, in the shops if it was like guildwars (w.o subscription) it would be what... £20.
so you buy the game (£10+£8 month) and... oh wait... now its expensive after then 2nd month.
its NOT TOO MUCH MONEY!!! its just expensive for what it is. its OLD.
the gfx are crap. i hate the pvp system. i hate theyre mining enchanting etc system and i hate there allience vs horde system.
the only thing i like is the raids and the quest. otherwise it SUCKS! IMO.

If you want to get into SRO, you're going to have to spend money anyways. If you want to do well in SRO, you're going to have to spend money anyways.
Im not too sure on which is older, but regardless, kudos to WoW for achieving so many players even though its older than SRO, which makes it a bad game.
Edit:
Actually, both SRO and WoW were released in the same year (2004). Now that that's cleared up its fair play against the two.

Silkroad is designed for more PvP then PvE. WoW is more PvE, raids and stuff. The PvP is lame. Dont know what they are called but the so called PvP where you compete with the other team to kill a boss. Silkroad is based around PvP.
