What you say guys, what is the best pt to kill medusa with? Don't tell me the one with the most suns, i'm talking about a party set. I have my oppinion on this, but i really wanna hear yours. And i'm asking for party in a case where there is other parties, not fighting alone against medusa. Yea, i'm pretty bored But i just got back from another medusa fight and this question came to my mind So, discuss please

2 Bards 1 Warlock 2 Wizard 1 Warrior 1 Rogue with Daggers and a Cleric. i think.. or maybe 1 warrior (defense), 2 clerics (more defense) and the rest filled with wizards

Never fought medusa but im guessing: 1 Warlock for max dmg 1/2 Warriors for screens, buffs and whatnot 2 clerics for healing, resurrection and buffs maybe 1 bard for dances and mp buffs but dont think its that needed and remaining places for high dmg dealing characters of choise (wizard, nuker or rogue) If your going in with multiple parties 1 warlock for all parties should be enough, just protect him well ^^ ok seeing how many people say bard is needed i guess im very wrong with my pt setup

1 cleric 2 bards 1 warlock 2 warriors 2 wizards
if you're the only pt. If not, 1 warrior and 3 wizards should work. (Hm, maybe even 3 bards if you can manage to stack the dances, not sure if you can because the room is kinda small.)

At least 2 bards are needed for the dances. Adn their buff greatly increase their stats (it's not like Cleric adding some int/str, is more like Extra Percent of Damage, defense.)

Need:
1 Cleric for Buffs/Heals 1 Bard for Mana Tambour/Orbit 1 Warrior to Tank/Buff 1 Warlock to Debuff/Disable (very important, stun/sleep to cancel petrify AoE) 4 Heavy Damage Dealers (either 4 Wizard or a Mix of Wiz and Rogues, preferably with cleric subs for Bless)

I guess maybe just canceling the dance then doing your own dance before it comes back works, too?

I agree with you up until the last part... one because I know for a fact that it goes 100x faster if you have a good warlock in your party. 3 wizards does not stand a chance against 2 wizards with a warlock helping them. I've played cleric in so many Medusa parties and observed how fast she died in both scenarios.

@somaro: Sounds good, but the solo warrior will die from the pain of the non-buffed with fence wizards. Even if the cleric heals all the time, it happends. At the poster above - only wizzards and warriors... not really a good idea, no one to heal the pain quote And the people who said 2 clerics, i don't think it's a good idea if they are only for heal. 1 cleric can heal just fine, 2 clerics is a waste of dmg or other buffs(warrior/bard/warlock). My suggestin would be: 1 cleric 2 warriors 3 wizards 2 bards OR 1 cleric 2 warriors 4 wizards 1 china something OR 1 cleric 1 warrior 4 wizards 2 bards + 1 outside warrior, if someone is willing to give up the EXP in the name of the kill Warlock is a good idea, can be put anywhere in the place of one of the wizards, but i prefer to see him in another party, it still helps enough

I never said to take out the warlock rhet nubbie :p I said replace a warrior with another wizard, OR replace a warrior with another bard, keep the warlock. also lol@bg dream, the warrior and wiz doing all the "work" while you bards and that other warrior do nothing ><

This is the party without a warlock. About 3 full parties were here, each had one sun staffed wizard. Usually happens at night, eastern time. During the day, we have this place packed with 8 man Euro Parties, and Medusa usually dies within 10 to 20 minutes.

That's a good pt, but it's not always possible to fill it with lvl 100 members. Most of the times my parties are with people 90+ so it happends to have some problems with the survival
