http://www.youtube.com/joymaxfanclubI heard about these guys but never actually payed attention to them. Today i was pvping and started to read their globals sent from a hacked account. Well, nothing new. But they say they hack accounts for 1 reason: botting. Just to destroy botting chars. Do you guys agree with it? Is to hack bots a way to fight em? Or just act like the ones we hate? I dont hav an opinion, yet. at same time i think "pwned" i remember hacking is so illegal as botting.

botting effects the ingame econemy a bit, it makes the game seem more dead, it lets ppl cap faster than others.
it doesnt hurt others tho
hacking accounts whether they were botted or not is wrong. people become atached to their characters and also spend alot of irl money on them in most cases. to take away something they own is alot worse than them botting their own char

There's no such thing as being hacked, so...
They'd have to get keylogged or share the info. Either way, it's wrong. Basically going down to their level kind of thing. You become no better than them yourselves.

Definitely agree.
Anyway, i've always been for destroying botting chars, i've made my share of Xian botters max murderer and stripped, though not by hacking(too bad lol), but it wasn't enough, they'd just bot it all back.

Nah, they don't care if your a botter or not. Selenne saw the globals I did, as we are both on Olympus.
Our guild mate was hacked, he was Lv82, and he was a botter.
But, after that they banned like 3 legits from the guild that were 76+.
Also, a friend that I am relatively certain did not bot, was hacked.
Hacking bots=good making the game worse for legits=bad

well, this is a special case. some will say its ok to hack bots , others will say it is not right. now it depends from person to person. actualy i am against this "scammer" or "hacker" cause everyone makes some errors in life (i am not saying i did)

You don't know what you're talking about, and therefore, you should not talk about the concept of hacking Joymax accounts. Don't say hacking accounts is impossible, or even improbable.

Botting = gold bots = buy gold = bad economy = less sever space = less legits. It's not hard. Why do they deserve their characters? A thief can spend years coming up with the perfect plan to steal a diamond, spend thousands doing so and then you think he gets it keep it? No. Cheaters deserve what they get.

Joymax has been hacked before, deebee, lilantes, arasyii, they made GM account went on made all kinds of suns and stuff, gave themselves like max str/int having 700k+ hp/mp, spawned Roc back in 2005 in Isro, some cave mobs, we had no idea what that shit was lol, like 100+ Devil Eyes out the gate of hotan, and Lord Yarkans and super mangyangs that would own you, and copied the database back then, what makes you think it couldn't happen now lol, it's Joymax.
The thing is most ppl that are able to do it, aren't going to, especially to hack accounts.

Who are you to say what happens to other's property though? If they used IRL money and paid for this char that was some hard earned money out of some of their pockets and they used it on something they enjoy...so why is right to take away their stuff and not others? Just because they bot?

I agree 2 wrongs here do make a right, that saying is not fact.
If you are getting rid of something that's harming the game and against the rules, how is that not good lol, just someones gonna get their feelings hurt or something? What about the rest of the players, if theres nothing to correct the 1st wrong should there just 1 wrong and nothing? Fight fire with fire. If they cheat, cheat them out.

Lets pretend that this "club" is serious lol
What system would they have that shows a person is 100% a botter? Who would they have to prove it too to start the "hacking" process. What do they do with the gold and equipment that is taken from these accounts? Are they taking it for there own gain, dropping it all in town, putting it in another account then deleted that account? Depending on how they go about of "hacking" these accounts couldn't they be breaking some laws? I don't think getting in that territory is worth it. : \ Even tho it would be great for the ingame economy it's just not the right way to handle it. Even tho it seems 99.99% pointless the only right way of doing this is to complain to joymax about it and have them take care of there game the way they want.
brb gonna get a chocolaty snack, two for me none for you.
