every time i do a 1 star i get popped left and right, so i've decided never trade again. i'd rather spend my time with those lovely flowers.

I think the worse thing about tag alongs (my personal experience) is having some low level snivelling asshole beg you for weapon elixiers / item that you made +5 / whatever valuable thing for like 2 hours and you constantly say "No, No, No..." and they just don't STFU. Because they think its their god given right to get free items and the like that you worked so hard for.
We (high level at level 7x) help the low level (whoever 3x or 4x -- whoever) out of our precious time and all we get is "Doing another one?", "Plz help me... plz plz plz plz" or "Give me item, give me item".
It really makes me wanna just drop the npc thief on their transport and on them and leave them for dead.
What is ever more infurioriating is when they die and its like "OMG HELP ME! HELP ME! HELP ME!" If you get robbed thats just tough luck. Suck it down and try again. Sure if I had force (which I got rid of for this very reason -- because of begging newb.), [which I don't have] I might help you. But when I don't have it and your like "HELP MEH PLZ PLZ PLZ" and I tell you I don't have the damn thing and you keep asking me it makes you the lower level look like a bit of a dick.

seriously you are sloooow, i obviously cant take down high lvls at 40, my point was i was getting bored with all one stars going by, more multi*s meens more thieves, so more action, if a high lvl goes by other higher lvl thieves will go after him, also there are often lower lvls accompanying high lvls, and the last qoute was reffering to to 52+s doing 1*s.

Yeah I can't help but laugh at the people who say they need to do trade runs to make money. If you want money, grind on mobs that drop wind 2 alchemy items (or even wind 4). You'll get a decent amount of gold during the grind and TONS of gold from the element sales.

@Thieves
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can get popped by someone of a much higher lvl right? So there's probably some 7x thief trying to pop these 52's (knowing they're a good 20+ lvls below) for all they're worth....
If the 52s went multi, they'd all be dead. Quick.
You really think a 7x thief would pass up killing a 2x-5x trader that decided to go multi? Sure they'll get the goods, but where's the fun on the trading side when you know you're going to die? At least you have some shot at survival doing a 1*. And traders look at it this way...if I get killed doing a 1*, what's going to make it even better going multi?
Anyone that 1* pops is a coward. People are doing 1*s for a reason - they are broke!! Easy money, for little to no effort. Leave em alone, what are you Thieves going to get out of it? Not even 1/2 of what they put into the trade.
If you put a stop to the 1* pops it'd probably encourage more traders to do multi.
I'm 66 now and I'd do a 1*. If I traded.

The thing is, when you go out on a trade run, especially at a higher level (you have more experience in the game in general) you should be well aware of ALL the dangers trading has to offer. If a lvl 52 player wanted to do a trade run, why even attempt it solo? I don't mean necessarily have hunters, but it does help... have guild mates or friends check things out ahead of you, especially near ferries and tell you if it's safe to go through. They can even use various distraction techniques against the thieves. Yes there are lvl 70 thieves of course that are just waiting to rob that lvl 52, but if the lvl 52 is smart about it, he can avoid the high lvl thief altogether.
In the real silkroad trade routes, do you think a trader would just buy a bunch of goods, strap them on her camel, and go out into the world all alone, essentially blind of what lies ahead? Especially if the goods have any value, you'd want some form of protection.

1 level 70 > 2 (maybe 3) level 50s. and this is why the job system needs level restrictions.
and lets say you have a level 7x theif at each ferry. what are you going to do?

I guess you do have a point there^^
Unfortunately, all you can do at that point is relog to another character and grind until the thief leaves. Either that or find a way to distract the thief while you teleport the ferry.

You can stop and talk to the low lvls, laugh as your ass off when a 64+ tries to pop you, yes it happens. Your stood there in a full 8th degree garment trading and they come up and try and pop you with an ox lmao!
Their reaction is priceless when you 1 shot all 5 of their nub thieves with a meteor or even funnier when they put their trade vehicle in front and you pull a 180 turn and pop them instead.
I plan on doing that when I hit a higher lvl . been popped enough that it will feel good to get a little pay back . just wander around with a horse and a small load killing thiefs that try to pop me. (I'll have on lower lvl gear until they come after me). something to do to for a little fun. I'm surprised more people don't do this just for the hell of it.

Perhaps another thing you could do. If you have a thief friend, give him your loot until he gets past the thief, then he can give it back to you. The 7x thief can't attack your friend, unless he wants to be murderer. There's plenty of ways to get past that thief if you use your imagination.

Duh, What if he calls his friend hunter and kills your friend thief.

Well it's worth a shot to get over the ferry. If you give your thief friend your loot before the 7x thief sees either of you, why would he call his hunter friend? Or are high lvl thieves in the practice of robbing other thieves?
To him, it's just another thief that's out doing his thing.

Yes you do deserve it. You bot and you got banned. Good for you. I guess you didn't get banned FOR botting, but you're a botter none the less. I'm sure you're a great person IRL but botters don't deserve a place on the server IMHO.
