yes it does.
LVL 80 will do 79% more dmg with the same skill that you with lvl 1 would do.

By raising Fire Mastery level ONLY (as your question specifies) will not increase your imbue's damage.
But if you increase your imbue's level, then it will

hope your not talking to me
skills say alot of things, and well half of the skills be4 use to be messed up. i still think kd is but thats my opinion or in game luck.
i still wonder wat 10% fire mastery lvl would do when attacking, to a str user.
i know bicheon 9% didnt change much, phy att went down like 7-10 points
seeing str users dont get much dmg from imbue would that 10% from maxing it to 80 make a noticable difference.
thats probaly why the poster (Raymond) asked.

Damage increase isn't noticable in phys attack.
EG
If I use a %dam buff, my phys/mag attack stays the same, but damage increases.

Wrong.
go ask a 70+ char if raising your wep mastery (on str char obviously) increases your phys attack or not it goes up by a considerable amount

I'm a full str glavier. I used to farmed at lv 69 with 8 gap. Then I closed my gap by raising the fire mastery from 61 to 69. I do like 2500 damage per hit with the soul-spear. After raising my fire mastery from 61 to 69, I'm still doing the same damage with the same fire force level. So does it increase my damage at all? If yes, then I don't see any difference. BTW that's supposed to be 8% more damage.

your wrong
the mastery lvl/% from wep skills do make a diff in damage and att points
you do notice it if its a big %, 1-5 you probaly wont.
when you lvl up ur skill look at phy att points i can bet you my acct it will change.
I dunno bout imbue and force tree, i never noticed or tried it. it SHOULD change the dmg.

You're full of crap.. if you raised your mastery, you would have raised the imbue too, and you'd definitely notice a difference between poison fire force 8 or 9.. and soul fire force 3..

It may be insignificant to pure str characters, but it does increase damage.
