Finally some action towards the statisfaction of the players...
2 new GM's were hired and are in training as MD says

" RedSeaCronicRe2ard please do not spread rumors.
We nor does anyone at Joymax support Botters or create Bot programs.

We are constantly trying to improve are security and limit the amount of Botters on each server.

Our last list we took down a greater amount of Botters and many users complained about some of these banned players not actually being bots.

This time we have come up with a compiled list of botters we are sure of on each server and for that it is smaller because like we have always said it takes time to confirm a bot. It is not a simple process of,

Hello are you there?
No, ok you are banned. Because this is not fair to every player.

We are always investigating botters on every server and this is with the staff in SJ and in Korea.

This whole thread is very sad to see this morning as it is just full of hate for Joymax, but I will leave it up as everyone is entitled to their opinion.

-Joymax Moderation Team"

Now comes to good part: (same thread)

" I have referred the video to the team in Korea for reference and asked them to evaluate it.

Determining the use of a bot program to catch individual bot users is a multi phase process that takes time. We need to be one hundred percent sure that a user is a bot user before we can actually ban them. Also, the accumulated knowledge of analyzing each confirmed bot user adds to our database used to create anti-bot measures for the game.

While we would like to dedicate more of our time to monitoring bot activity, in reality we are still short staffed and focused more on developing security measures for the game and the website. Also, we are developing new anti bot and cheat programs for the game, which take time to develop but will be put in place once they are ready.

On the bright side, we have just hired two new GMs who are in training. As soon as the new GMs have completed their training, they will aid greatly in servicing our users in the game.

- morningdew"

Now if you want to know what video they are talking about, check out the whole topic : http://www.silkroadonline.net/sro_board ... picID=3197

MAN this is GOOOOOOOD news baby!!

After watching the 2 waypoints vids, just effing awesome :D

I mean surely JM can start bringing down the ban hammer on these a-holes by using their own weaknesses against them as was shown in the waypoints vid.

Suggestions to fix iSRO:
-Gold wipe

Morningdew's reply to the Waypoint video -

I have referred the video to the team in Korea for reference and asked them to evaluate it

You have got to be kidding me :x

How can JM keep coming up with this shit?

I can't believe that they expect people to buy this nonsense response, as if they had no idea you could track waypoints to see the passing parade of botters.

More proof that they are full of lies.

I think they are that stupid not knowing that bots have tons of waypoints...
Proofs how often they are ingame :)

actually morningdew is right. you can use macros to run a paths
of course most of those are bots (probably all) but like morningdew said they need to be 100% sure about what they are doing, especially when this game involves real money.

isrobot next update = new paths or 3 or 4 paths for same routes.
