Post subject: high level drops from low level monsters? Posted: Sat Jan 13, 2007 6:06 pm |

Hi, I'm New Here |

So today I was out grinding hyungo ghosts to finish out an old quest and I came across a group of about 7 or 8 demon horses. I figured it'd be fun to have them surround me and use nukes and multi enemy spear attacks so I ran into the group. Anyway, at the very end an hyungo ghost soldier ran up too and upon defeating it, it dropped a lvl 35 SOS coronet.
that's a 10 level gap, plus SOS!
Anyone else ever have something this weird happen?

yeah I got 34 sos earrings off a hyungno ghost soldier a few months back
EDIT: I believe it only drops higher lvls when its an SoX item though. Not sure. Cuz one of my guildies claims he killed a lvl 37 mob and got a lvl 52 sos item. Other than the sos, I've never got a high lvl item from a lower lvl mob.

I'm pretty confused why you would post about when they stop dropping items. He was asking about why they are dropping higher level items...

SoS stuff can drop 1 degree above or below the degree/level monster you killed. It's a common known fact.

Well "new" Partyataztec here at SRF we have rules, rules which you must follow. So i suggest you take a look at them
N let me quote a section for you.
Signatures may include:- One large image 550 x 200 pixels or less
- Two small banners or one large banner 550 pixels or less.
If your signature does not comply with these standards, or the staff team feels your signature is too long, you will recieve a notice. If this notice is ignored, your signature will be edited for you.
Its nice and all that you are tyring to show the possible "SRO_HACKTEAM" however, it is a pain that most of your posts are 10x smaller than your sig.
So i hope we have an understanding here
