I guess i have misunderstood the weapon's 0% after each stat. From my understanding if the phy is 600 ~650 ( 50%) mag 700 ~750 ( 50%) then that means i can alchemy until the percent reaches 100%? Kind of like a gauge on how much play you have left with alchemy.

I have always bought weapons on the +s crit and blues, i have never worried about the 0%s. But it comes back and bites you in the @ss when you go to resell them.

IMO a weapon that has 600~650 at (0%) is alot better then a weapon that is 550~600 at (65%)

Its about the actual stats not the % correct? So do you go by the actual phy and mag stats or by the % I don't see what the big deal is if a weapon has higher phy and mag and zero % then one that has lower phy and mag with higher %.

Shed some light on this for me please.

Hey wasup Sroge, it's funny I thought about that. well I have more questions like is there anyways possible to make each stats on a weapon all 100% like phy attack 200-265 +100%, mag attack 300-350 +100%, attack rating, crit etc... all 100%. See my thing is, aight check it and bare with me. lets say lvl 16 spear, what is the highest + can ya make the spear. lets say for argument sake you can only make it a +6 and all blued out with all 100% and also try to make the phy/mag, attack rating, crit all +100% is that possible if so then is it worth it? maybe not for a lower lvl weapon but a higher one at that??

I agree with you

A % literally means how much better it is in that category than a storebought equipment of the same level. Your 600-650 (0%) vs 550-600 (65%) analogy doesn't really work, because we would probably be talking about 2 different weapon echelons. Two weapons of the same level (say 42 in this case) will always have the same damage numbers if theyre both 0%, so it's only possible to have a weapon with a lower actual damage but higher % if it's a lower level weapon than the first.

If the % is low, yes, alchemy can allow you to try to make it higher. Sometimes a 60%+ phys glaive will be better than a +2 and 0%, simply because the % can add more than a + at later levels.

I have heard comments that when a stat has 0% you can't enhance it because its bugged. Is this true or just a rumor?

False, however it can take a dozen stones before the thing goes up. I had a 56 blade that i was trying to get the phy dmg up and on the 3rd stone i tried it went from 0% to 60 something %
