Thats why i didn't want to get WoW, because everyone told me it's really addictive..
But i think You should try Guildwars.
It's non-addictive. don't have to grind for days for level or a gear.you just have to play and finish the story line, which i think it's cool.
No bots as far as i've seen, but even if there's bot the cap is 20 and you can hit level 20 in a week, the game isn't about levels.
F2P. Just have to buy the game which isn't expensive.
No lag.
No Disconnection or if there's gonna be disconnection they will worn you before.
No CCF or item malls thingy.
Ingame gold would never make you better than otheres, also real money.the FoW expensive armor worth around 1.4mil gives the same defence as the 10k armor.. it's just about the look..
awsome community!! best thing in GWs i think.. You will rarely find people coursing and swearing, everyone help!! you would even find high levels standing in low level missions/outpost asking if anyone need help for free.
Anet is a great respectful company, i had a problem sent a report and everything got solved in 3 hours..
PVP/Guildwars/alliance wars/random arena.. really fun..

The thing I like about WoW is that eBayed gold can't get you shit for gear. AH'd epics suck balls.

One Saturday, I got up to play... and I run the game like 20 damn times to log in. Game disconnects me every time I hit the enter key. After like 30 minutes, I finally get in. I go teleport to DW to train, and the game gives me a CLASSIC runtime error. After getting back in AGAIN, it took like 20 minutes to find somewhere to train.

I have no ticket time, so I had to buy a 1-day ticket, and I don't want to spend ANOTHER $20 silk purchase to get a 4 week ticket. 10 minutes later, these ppls had some kind of problem with me, and KS me for almost the ENTIRE time of my ONE ticket.

I forced myself to do the 3 hours...not because its FUN, but because I have to farm. While ignoring these peoples the ENTIRE time. And the best drop I got was a STR tablet, and no real items. I'm tired of training in the F!KING cave EVERY day of my life. I don't think I've had a "real" girlfriend cept booty calls and one night stands from the bar - for over a YEAR. I think Im gonna get fired from my job. Who knows. Lack of sleep. And I even forgot to fill out my tax forms last year.

(Stopped by spirit power to watch him bot a little too, and make a SS of him - the one I posted) Meanwhile watching all the usual globals from a handful of guilds who hate each other and just won't SHUT THE F! UP. FFS JUST SHUT UP FOR ONE DAMN DAY. NO ONE CARES.

(I logged in last night and talked with the guild. Would you believe? A CCF account spamming global about Nato and Soju AGAIN! AGAIN LIKE EVERY DAY!)

So I go to town and make the one STR tablet I have, and AGAIN it fails. Of course it does. We are close to 20 failed STR tablets now. So I BUY ONE for 3m near the jewel lady thinking I might get lucky. And IT FAILS. AGAIN IT FAILS. OF COURSE. 3m more lost. These ppls wearing +50STR on their gears and mine FAILS. This bot hoe Medicc in a stall selling TEN STR STONES and has "20 stamina stones available" in comment. I had one gear that was STR5, and it assimilated to 1.

I know the bot digs those up for you alllllllll day long.

OKAY so alchemy blows, lets do jobs instead. I go thief, and teleport to DW . AGAIN DISCONNECT. AGAIN AGAIN! Get back in the game AFTER 30 MORE MINUTES and go to don south. All I see is Chinatown and Duck_Club, a bunch of bots I can't even compete with anyway with all their glorious gear.

So I go out the other gate and someone sees me - Lau of course - chases me on foot - chases me on horse - chases me in zerk, and 1-shots me with nuke. Yay. Oh and ever since I saw Lau's gear all over ebay, I feel like everything I've done in the last year for my character means nothing.

There was not ONE thing fun in those 5 hours spent.

I'm tired of checking every single bot list and NOT seeing people from ChinaTown, Duck_Club and NIKE banned. DarkCharmer's bot KSed me for FOUR WEEKS while I was farming at warriors, and almost EVERY DAY.

I'm tired of people posting CCF'ed items all over the forum, and everyone defends them. Oh wait, whats your classic excuse? Something like "just because theres 6 astrals on it doesn't mean CCF, some people have money and don't care. Well I say, those people gotta be really stupid, and wasteful of their money.

I'm tired of all the drama I get in-game because I run this forum.

I'm tired of going outside of the gate and seeing nothing but full SOS botters. I can't compete with these people unless I:

A) Buy gold
B) Buy Lau's items of ebay
C) Bot myself

And I won't do it. So I haven't played.

My October silk charge was 1900 silk. Of legit money. How? We +5'd about 7 weapons, a shield, and more. Also gold ticket, monkey, RR scrolls, and anything else handy. $190 to get beat up by bots and grind a login screen. $190 to get KS'ed and shit talked in the cave for nothing. $190 to hear Soju and H.A. fight over global.

To play SRO, I would first need:
$50 skill allocation pots for glaive
$13 for new gold ticket (maybe)
$4 for a monkey

Thats $67 right off the bat to play SRO. Don't say "you don't have to spend money on this game" because I DO spend my money.

And for sure, I am tired of biting my tongue on 99% of the topics posted here.
