so the game code is flawed, we've seen many complaints on various aspects of the game and now the gold duping is the latest "feature" we can add to the ever growing list of complaints. I've decided to make a list that sums up most of the known complaints, not only for myself but also for the rest of the SRO community.
It's a long list with explanation so dont flame me or whatever, try to keep up! If i forgot something just post a reply and i'll add it to the list

Player botters
The amount of player botters is increasing daily, people on any given server are aware of the most notorious but so far there has been no word from Joymax on what punishment they will receive. Keep reporting these players through the bug report page on sro.net and maybe one day you'll see the name pop up on the next banlist.
-
Gold farm botters
A group of bots maintained by a single person or an organisation that collect dropped gold which is later sold online. Completely destroys the game's economy as prices on valued items inflate beyond control. Further more these groups of bots mass collect gold in an area appointed by its user which limits the training/questing/farming possibilities for legit players. (hashade anyone?)
-
Gold duping
The latest feature to pop up on the list, gold generated through a glitch in a game where the user can collect millions and maybe billios of gold in a matter of minutes. Like the gold farm botters completely destroys the game's economy.

CCF
As the game does not require any account validation through e-mail or a social security number, people are able to create a dummy account to purchase silk with a creditcard only to charge back the money. By doing so they are able to purchase an unlimited amount of Silk and use it to buy astral and immortal stones in large quantities to upgrade their weapon to at least +7 or even +9. Completely destroys the balance of power within the game. Limit the use of the astral and immortal stones to the respective level of the buyer and the problem would be solved, dummy accounts with level1 characters would be unable to buy alchemy stones that are intended for example level 64-77 (degree

.

Account security issues
As the game does not require any account validation through e-mail, the player has no means to request additional information on his/her account. For example; you forgot the answer to your secret question and would like to retrieve it but the registration system used by sro.net does not support it. This means you have NO means what so ever to change the password to your account! If the hacker founds out about all your account information, meaning login and pw and the answer to secret question, all he or she has to do is log in on sro.net, change the mail adress unknowing to the original owner, then change the pw to the account and the owner will never be able to retreive the account. Account validation through e-mail and (secret password) retrieval system could possibly provide better account security measures.

??? disconnect error
By now we all know the error derives from faulty code in the game engine and not as a result of outdated video card drivers.
-
SRO.net website errors (forum hacks etc)
Recently their forum was hacked and as a result multiple accounts were taken over. It doesn't stop there as Sweet_Santa supposedly has been able to aquire the account database from sro.net in order to stop bot using players and punish them as he sees fit. I'm not an advanced coder but most know the website security is certainly is lacking.

SRO.net website "issues"
The structure of ISRO website isn't customer friendly at all, no clear overview and the frontpage is clearly lacking in comparison to its Korean counterpart. Also lacking community support (not counting the poorly devised forum) without having an (un)official fansite, no means to upload screenshots or have interaction with other members.

Unstackable items in storage
Elixers are unstackable items and therefor take a huge amount of space in your storage. Sure like Crayon or Gargamel said, when you drop them by accident you'll cry your heart out but the new player drop warning (where you need to approve the drop) prevents them from doing something stupid like that. With the addition of the elemental system people need to take out an entire stack of elements from storage while they only need a small amount. Putting back the elements into storage is costly, so if you stack in storage it would safe gold.
-
Certain monsters respawn rate
Certain area's have a low monster respawn rate, while there are quite a number of players that need to kill these monsters in order to either complete a quest or just train to levelup. A good example for the high levels would be the Moles and ofcourse the Nachals (first room not the last).
-
Lack of quests
We're all still waiting for the guild quests, while we all know we won't see any additional quests added through patches (like WoW) it would we nice to see more quests in this game. Furthermore the quests should be modified with additional SP rewards, where upon succesfully completing a quest the player will be rewarded SP which is 5~10% of the total SP gained on his/her respective level.
-
Lack of events
The events organised by Joymax are just the thing that makes this game that much more fun. When we take a look at our Korean counterpart they organise an event in steady intervals (or so it seems) to bring fun and joy to the community. The ISRO community however hasn't seen an event in months...

GameGuard issues (errors, does it work??)
we all know this background security program isn't really doing its job like its supposed to do but actually does more harm then it would to protect us. When a small minority of players encounter an error with GG and are in a position they cant fix it themselves, then the problem should be formally addressed by Joymax.

Lack of communicative skills on Joymax/GM's side
Information on future updates and perhaps a timeschedule when certain features will be implemented would be nice. An updated ban list, haven't seen any for months and there are LOTS of people to be banned. Sure the notices that Crayon and co send every now and then when they decide to show up is a way of communicating with your community, but not everybody might be logged in on SRO at the time. Learn to communicate with those who play your lovely game in a better fashion, try to utilize that website of yours a bit better.

Scammers unpunished (lack of server supervision)
Because there is little till no server supervision at all, by either GM or SA, scammers are free to continue what they do best without any interference at all. Minor issues such as exchange scams aren't the fault of Joymax but that of the victim itself! However there are those that have taken scamming to a new level, offering gold for silk but do not hold their end of the bargain. For example: Solemn on the Aege server offers 50m gold for 500silk but does not pay out the gold he promised leaving the other party without reward and losing real money.
-
PVP system issues
There is no PVP system in this game which keeps track on a players pvp record, it would a nice feature but being unable to challenge an opponent to a 1v1 or for that matter group battle is certainly a downer. PVP appointed area's are non existing so finding a decent 1v1 or for that matter a group battle in a certain area of the map is almost impossible.
-
Insufficient amount of uniques (low respawn rate)
The game boasts 3 unique monster bosses with our current level cap (that being 70), which isnt nearly enough for the thousands of players in a single server that would like to hunt down and kill one. But then again we'll have Yarkan at 80 and the other 90, long wait ahead and just more high level accounts to one hit Tiger Girl. If the uniques respawn rates were to be increased, as in once every 2 hours for every unique, players will be given the opportunity to hunt a unique more often on a daily basis . This would prevent having to wait 6/7 hours tops for a single unique you'dl like to hunt and kill to respawn.
-
Item mall products for d8 equipment overpriced (astral/immortal)
The higher level we get the more money joymax tries to squeeze out of their "customer". The higher level character you have the more money you'll need to spend on correspending alchemy items such as Astral and Immortal. With the new level cap coming, in order to make your level 64~72 weapon or level 64~77 equipment failsafe from failing entchantment at +4 people need to buy both 8th degree alchemy stones for a combined price of 9.20 USD (92silk). Lowering the price for these item mall products will be more appealing to consumers and thus increases sales.
-
Service issues (what is customer service?)
Only 3 (what for us seems inactive) GM's for a total of 12(?) servers where the appointed Silk Assistants also seem near invisible. Can we even speak of customer support? Thousands of accounts spread accross a dozen servers depend on these three chosen ones so can they handle the pressure? Is there even such a thing as CUSTOMER SUPPORT with this game? We keep reporting bugs and botters but have yet to see any reaction to these issues...
-
Golden / Silver ticket "issues"
Why do we have to join a shared party in order to secure the time left on our golden ticket? Why isn't there the option to turn off the ever running clock on your golden ticket when you dont need it (such as jobbing or caping) and you can turn it on when you're ready to resume training/grinding/question/farming?
-
Monkey/Squirrel inventory "issue"
Why are there 4 pages in total while we can only use one? We paid 8 dollars on such a pet and most pay 5 dollars a month to lenghten its rental period. Why aren't there more filters on what items the monkey/squirrel can pick up? Such as elements, equipment, gold, ARROWS, Elixers etc.

Item Droprate Questionability
In the early levels of the game the player will have a high probability of dropped items as opposed to the late levels. As the game progresses the player will see a decreased probability of aquiring an item dropped by monsters. While there is NO clear explanation on how what where and when certain factors influence the droprate, an increase of dropped items at higher levels is most welcome. And how is it that certain players have more luck getting a (SoS SoM SoSuN) drop then others?
