So I'm a lv16 pure str bowman in the new server Maya. I just realized how expensive a bowman is to level. Pot costs are probably triple what I can get from drops. Not to mention the fact that arrows are two gold each, and since I'm pure str it takes about a dozen arrows to take down a white tiger, so just killing a monster costs about 25 gold plus the enormous pot costs.

Since it's a new server, people are obviously poor and the economy is not yet developed. I have like 300 of each 2nd degree element, but can't seem to sell them for 500 gold each. If someone buys just ONE bundle, my financial crisis will be solved.

I also got some good weapon drops, but no one seems to want them...
Guys got any advice? Tanking monsters without potting is not an option because I do want to level fast and be above the average level while it's still possible.

you can make more of your pots and arrows by fighting monsters 4-6 lvls lower than yourself.
Bandit archers or Tigers will do just fine.
If you think they dont spawn quick enough, go to europe and kill the lvl 14 dragon thingys and lvl 15 pilopomes.

you will be able to 2-3 hit kill them using less arrows getting more drops, you can just sell them then

Just keep grinding, at mobs lower lvl then u by 2-3 lvls, and collect alchemy materials from mobs and just NPC them, and sell some stuff.

BTW, it would be a nice idea, to buy as much wep elixers now, for low costs, and then sell in about 3 month,s nice profit :D

no one has any money to buy anything. everyone else is in the exact same situation as you. plus you level too fast to justify buying new wep or doing alchemy

Npc the gear. Sell 2-3 pieces = 500 coins. Easily. And bam, problems solved.

Better yet...
1. Get an alt that's lower then level 10.
2. Go to roc mountain.
3. Pick up alchemy shit, and the occasional drop if your lucky.
4. Profit.

I couldnt get above 150k for the first 20 or so levels. Now i've got around 2mil. Just keep fighting blue mobs. And i'm pure str bower.

And i'll buy wep elixer off you if you get any.

an avarage player earns about 100k by lvl 20, 500k by lvl 30, 1-2 mil by 40, 4-6 mil by 50, 10+ mil by 60

you should be collecting elixirs and saving them, they will be worth a lot in a few months

Have you tried joining partys at crabs and such? Alot of them are full of botters so if you just make it look like your making an effort they wont kick you and you barely waste any pots not too mention great exp, going to make it harder for you being chinese but ( no racism) :)

Firstly, its not a good idea to start on a new server with a chinese. Wizard would be the best for 1st char on new server.
Secondly, just npc ur item drops/alchemy materials - don't make elements. 1-5d elements are useless.

Euro characters are way op. Especially wizards. Wizards need a HUGE nerf.

And 1-2d elements are probably useless, but 3-5d are useless? wtf?
I've made millions selling them on my main. And although people are poor now, that won't be the case in a few weeks. People will want to buy 3-5d elements fo sho. You're right about the 1-2d elements though. Except for wind 2. REally shoulda NPCed..

2nd degree elements only work with 2nd degree gear now. you dont need 3d, 5d, 7d elements along with 11d elements to make 11d stones. just 11d.

You think you level faster when it takes 25 arrows to kill one monster? Trust me you kill greens you will gain more exp over time and your money problems will be solved.

And yea level 2 elements are worthless.

Well now that I can do trade runs, money is definitely not an issue anymore. =p

The only issues I have now are the bots. :(
