Maybe you should read about the event first before making useless posts. The event is all about killing the GM.

Thiefs have 1 GM, hunters/merch 1. If thief GM survives, thieves win..

As far as I know, you're supposed to protect your GM and attack the other. Similar to capture the flag. So there should be hunters/thieves fighting each other to try and keep the other person away from the GM. Not just all players trying to kill the GM. Otherwise job suits wouldn't be required.

I participated in this event and was only able to kill one hunter that was around my level...I mustav died like 10 times all from wizards who had insane defense buffs.

Why must wizards have things like stealth and can get such powerful defense buffs? That's like a Nuker having the same amount of HP as a full STR and still being able to do the damage of a pure INT...JOymax is retarded to the Nth degree..

You are supposed to kill the opposit GM, and ofc job fight as much as you want. When GM is dead, fight is over.

Trader/hunters dominate Athens, but the last event they lost because the thief GM absolutely RAPED everyone that came near him. He killed our party like 40 times, full warrior buffs, bard dances, reverse immolation, bless....it didn't matter. One sword dance and we all dropped with 300k damage.

I laughed at him when I blocked 6 times in a row and he disconnected me instead. >=[

Same thing happened in Phoenix. When there were theives, they are atleast 10.. and the rest we're Trader/Hunters. I don't mind counting them (including me). lol. And all were hitting GM Theif Tarpy like no more tomorrow..just doesn't work at all. He is not even close to dying I guess. Until everyone was tired and convinced the GM to summon all the uniques instead. From TG to Demon. And from that point on, Wizards took the spotlight (as usual).

With about 15 on each uniques.. That was a bit hilarious!

Well yes, killing the GM is the end goal of the event. Does anyone actually defend their own GM in these events? Alternatively, does everyone from each side just gang up on the opposing GM with no defense?
